Celtic have been keeping tabs on promising Polish talent Jakub Kaluzinski - but face losing out to Real Valladolid.
The Hoops have been monitoring the midfielder for over a year from when he played with Legia Gdańsk in his home country but he now plies his trade with Antalyaspor in Turkey. Kaluzinski would be worth around £3.5million but a source has confirmed to Football Scotland that the last contact made regarding the Pole - his conditions - was just over a week ago.

Rodgers saying could brought in 9 players by now but after quality.
Now before anyone starts I'm not saying this lad won't be or can't be quality but this is not the type of player that takes months of negotiation over.
What I'm getting at is I would expect to see any rumours coming through to show a higher current calibre of player. Unless of course that sound bite by Rodgers was a load of crap?? -

I cant see us wanting a defensive mid unless we are changing the roles of the 3 cause i dont see any benefit in playing mcgregor forward one. He is his most effective as a 6, not a 8 or a 10.

In Europe this isn't the case.
I thjnk we need to be thinking past mcgregor as the 6 there unless it's a double pivot. I love him but having him trying to do all the defensive work and shield fhe defence is a big reason why we haven't been successful in some games past years.
We are often badly outpaced and done for physicality in the midfield in Europe. Which is ironic as its what we always used to have over European sides.Mince.Charming, Ryanm1984, Crilly and 1 other person like this. -
