Can't we just agree he is utter *?

 

It's much easier to perform if your every move isn't analysed. At Celtic every mistake is highlighted and will be in the paper on the radio etc.

He can't go anywhere in Scotland as a Celtic player without being noticed etc.

I would argue that playing for any EPL team outside the top 5 comes with much less pressure than playing with Celtic.

It's obvious the boy can play but can he handle the extra pressures of playing for a big club?

 

£1.5m in the bank for some players. Let's get it reinvested as soon as possible

 

Any money banked from sales, should.be spent on direct 1st team players of quality this season as opposed to projects. 5 or 6 players of substance. Start as you mean to go on.

Shved has quality, Hendry had nothing to offer Celtic.

An absolutely horrendous footballer. Aye he's had a good season in Belgium, but the fact we've somehow made a profit on this diddy is fantastic.

There is 0 chance he'll go for anything close to £8 million, which was widely reported. He'll get sold for around £3 million, and good luck to the poor sods who spend that on him.

On the other hand, he got game time abroad and did well enough for us to get our money back. Fair does.

Shved struggled to get into his loan teams starting 11 and Hendry got into the Belgian league team of the season.

Even though this is not the Shved thread shows to me he wasn’t good enough for that side. Fail to see this quality you say he has.

I think the myth was 'he deserves a chance when he comes back'. * that. We all knew he is nowhere near good enough.

He was one of those players when he was at Dundee that no one would've suggested him when looking at our league. Players like Ferguson, Porteous etc. There's a debate to be had (I'm not saying either are good enough BTW). There was literally not one post on the transfer thread that said we should be looking at Hendry. It's a bit like McKenna. All of us unanimously agree he would be awful, yet there were worrying signs that we had targeted him. Thank * there was someone more stupid than us out there for that transfer.

An utter diddy who wouldn't look out of place at Sunday League, and I'm being genuine there.

 

I almost feel sorry for the boy at times but then I remember that he was hocking tickets at inflated prices to our support. Capitalism has no place in paradise (unless it is to benefit the team) ya wee fud, noo beat it
