Aitchison, from what i've seen of him, looks a goal poacher, sharp in the box. The trouble he has is his physique, or rather, lack of it. He looks like a 14 year kid. Gotta be strong these days with the game so athletic.

He isn't ready for a long run in the side yet, as much as I rate him really highly, but.....i do personally think he could come in for the odd game now and then and do well..

Brendan probably just thinks the stakes are ridiculously high for a 17 year old leading the line in our qualifiers..

If Griffiths was genuinely injured next week, I'd put him in..

He actually has good ability on the ball outside the box too, he is decent when facing goal and holding the ball and turning players and linking play and playing behind another striker.

As you say though his lack of height or pace will probably hold him back, if he was 6ft he'd probably be able to play for us already but he's too small added to a lack of pace, not like he's similar to Burchill or Maloney who were rapid. He'll need to develop quite a lot physically before he gets a game.

Don't think rogers will put him in if Griffiths doesn't make it and looks like Sinclair will be up front .

Same. Dissapointing he isn't coming on as a sub.

Pretty poor that he keeps getting shunned when he's our only recognised striker..

These are the type's of game's he should be being tested in..

Don't see why he shouldn't be called upon if Griff doesn't make it for Wednesday. Was just thinking earlier when Man United had to start Rashford because they didn't have an established striker and look how well he did. He hasn't looked back since then and scored many goals in big games for them.

He'a actually really good at holding the ball up and with his back to goal in the u21's, totally different to first team obviously but he's definitely got some stregth about him for only 17.

Haven't seen a lot of him but he has impressed me whenever I have seen him.

Playing in the first team will only help his development and will help build up his strength. Made an instant impact on his debut but hasn't had a chance since.

As a homegrown young player, he doesn't need to be registered

If he isn't going to get a look in this season then a loan to Morton or a upper half championship side is required

This. I don't want us punting money for 3rd choice strikers. I would rather us use that money elsewhere with the added benefit of developing our own.

    Is he injured?

    Is he alive pal?

Surprised he wasn't used, especially with an SPL game on Friday. Griff could have used a rest.
