His previous club get 30% of his next transfer, so if he goes for 10m we only get 7m. I'd rather just keep him than sell him for that. One of the reasons Celtic are so good at the moment is because of him.

TBH I have no doubt what so ever that a big club (no reason why it won't be Barca, he has the ability!!) will come in and make us an offer we 'can't' refuse.

If Barca or the like do I feel he'd be away in a shot, who could blame him. He's hardly grown up in the east of Glasgow supporting the Celtic.

I hope and pray he hangs about for a few season's, he's an absolute treasure. Full credit to Neil Lennon for finding someone with such outstanding potential. Izzy is IMO world class!!!!

Because his last club get 30% of the fee and we wont find a decent replacement for about 7mil then i think our only option is to maybe put a 20mil+ price tag on him....personally if it was me who made the rules then he would have a 50mil+ pricetag to get rid of all bidders but man city :56:

Every time a quality player goes to a Scottish side, the papers there have them sold on or linked before they have hardly kicked a ball.

If Izza or any other of the new signings go elsewhere, it would be a sad loss of quality for The team and fans but as long as they are there, we are always going to read * from journalist who don't have the wit to dig out a decent story, so they invent the obvious.

I think the fact that the team has a strong bond with Lenny will keep them at Celtic given the statement Lenny's agent made stating "He is not for leaving the club at the end of the season as he is not a quitter".

To be honest I would be quite surprised if any of our quality players left but if they did it wouldn't be the end of the world.:celt_2:

This is great news. :icon_mrgreen: He's been sensational, i'd hate to lose him so early into his career here. Right up there for Player Of The Year in my opinion.

I wouldnt expect him to stay in the spl if any club from the top 5 leagues in europe game in with a very decent offer and i dont put this down to him not wanting to play for celtic, but not wanting to stay in the spl with thugs like bougherra and co trying to brake legs. I do beleive he has got the celtic bug like most of the new arrivals but what would this say about his ambitions as a player if he rejected a better move. We just have to pray no-one comes in for him:shamrock:

If he went to any of those teams he would be third choice or reserves at best, he'd never make it off the bench. He'd best stay at Celtic for at least another season, even if he wanted to leave. I think he'll be here for at least another year or so

We bought him for £650 grand mate. There are diamonds out there that don't cost £7m and Izzy is testament to that.
