    Looks like we'll be getting this boy but its goanny be a good thing no matter what standard hes at (hes got to be better than Camara and Wallace) so id be satisfied. It gives us a natural left-back and means we can play Wilson at his natural position right-back, in which i think he will become one of our best players.

    I know Petkov from a long time ago ... I alread said i was not a very keen fan of him at some time of his career , but looking generally he made quite a good career in the NT . over 60 games for Bulgaria is a good atestat . In his best times he was very fast left-back , and often played good in the attack . He is also very good in free kicks . Most of his goals for NT and club teams are scored from free kicks .
    Let's hope he'll settle fine in Celtic team if GS signes him :50:

    ffsk my grannies better than Camara... id happily bring in anyone new so we have wilson at right back and any new guy at left back .... no camara or telfer in the side will do me fine.

    well ... he is doing his job in defence ... but i didn't liked him in the NT because he didn't play there like he played in his club teams . I mean in the NT he was rearly crossing the center line :) never showed his best abbilities in the NT . Always looked like o be scared or something . if he receives a ball in the center he passes it back to another defender , never tried his good runs on the wing like he dud in his club teams

    maybe ..true but youd be hard pushed to buy another player as bad as him also virgo is another one .. to think we payed 1m quid for that imposter is ridiculous ... thats been strachans biggest mistakes i feel .. but he has made some great signings also for sure i guess some players adapt to scottish football / Celtic way whats expected etc .. than others ... i mean we signed the other Camara and no one liked hiom he was murder for us ... yet signed for Wigan and was Prolific.....i also think we will spend wisely whoever we bring in.:shamrock::celt_2::shamrock:.. arsenal are in talks with chelski over cole atm ... so Bridge could also be a better option for Left-Back if it came off... id rather have Wayne Bridge than a 30yr old bulgarian that i dont know much about ... with bridge at least you know what your getting . Quality.. still we wait and see in anticipation......

    He sounds decent enough to me so we shall see. He has probably been watched by Ray Clarke anyway so it won't be a rash decision.
