    But what quality are you getting for that. We keep squandering 3 million here and there for players and it’s not working. We could probably get him for about 6 with add ons because that’s what Brentford have offered ( allegedly)

    Ajeti and Jullien were £11m so that kind if quality. If wr had half decent scouts we could probably cover all 3 positions with decent quality for that price but we're lacking in that department.

    They position are more important we have got to at least try fill those gaps looks at frimpong got him for under a million the players are their wee just have to do our homework a lot better

    That’s what I was thinking while watching it. Fry is a complete wheeler dealer type, but at least he just sat down and thrashed out a deal then and there.

    We could have a lord of the rings length blockbuster for most of our transfers, culminating in the film ending with things just the way they were in the opening scene.

    Joining Brentford today for an initial £5M

    Possibly rising to £9M-£10M in add ons.

    We definitely dropped our interest i would say.

    Peterborough acting like they wanted £15M upfront for him but settled for just £5M.

    My guess is the player said "fine I'll sit the year out and I'll take a massive sign on fee and you get * all". He probably has to score 20 league goals and Brentford be promoted for that £10m to be reached. Brentford squad will be raided this summer so hard to say how well they will do.
