are the people thats posting at the game today ,and if you were did you try to sing

 

the fans pay the money for the players on show, at least the players can do is to give the fans something to sing about

but i supoose if your getting between 10/20grand aweek it widnae bother me whose singing

 

It was like a library at paradise today. My little lad (9) was signing the holy goalie all through the game

that was 1 athe reasons a gave up my season ticket that and the fact a couldnt afford it but a dunno if it was just me but it was getting 2 the stage awasnt enjoying it anymore !! it was becoming more of a chore than going to watch the team a love

today we secured the points which was great but a few points to ponder.

our vocal support at games is an embarassment...... could have heard fleas farting.

once again we scrape through against a side that we should be scoring 3 or 4 against.
holding possesion is fine but we take too long to create a scoreing oportunity and in my view we lack a cutting edge.

these criticisms are carried on from last season so dont accuse me of a knee * reaction after one game.

fans * wake up please.....
and celtic * get the checque book out.

Nah seriously, Ill admit to being one of the people that tends to sit and watch more during the SPL games but its like anything else, its hard to get excited about turning over the same teams all the time where as when european teams come its new and fresh and exciting and u feel like the team needs that extra lift to get the win.

If people want to sing thats great, but if people dont wanna just leave them be. Theres nothing worse than a pished ned shouting at some poor old guy to get up and sing when he's maybe tired, hungover, a mute or just plain cant be arsed!

Aye atmosphere was poor after the start. WOuld be good if everyone who sings were grouped in the one section. Because at times one end of the ground starts a song, but by the time the other end joins in they have stopped. Heard the JB trying that St Pauli songs quite a lot.

Oh aye, around me was about 10 kids under the age of 7! They done nothing but giggle and try and annoy each other. Now i am all for them going to the games but please put them in the family section!

 

Buying won't make a difference. These players are capable of winning 4 , 5 -0 just that they did not today.

Why put this in the match thread mate? Quite simple.

 

Too many spectators there not to sing but to moan constantly instead need to get more fans who are willing to sing. extend the singing sections and let them take over the stadium!! Much as I love Celtic Park I prefer away games, much better atmosphere.

 

It doesn't matter when the kick off is, who we are playing, and how rubbish Celtic are playing. Just get behind the team and prove to the world who the best fans are.

The Eastern Europeans and South Americans have cracking atmospheres every game.

I'm ashamed to be honest. We are Celtic, what happened to the passion? Make lots of noise, trust me, not only would it improve results it will also make the game more exciting even if we lost.

Singing and making lots of noise is just as important as signing new players, isn't this what football is all about? Isn't this what makes Celtic special?

 

The atmosphere was pretty non existant today. For 'Walk On' at the beginning I was one of only a few in my section who stayed standing with my scarf held up. The other 2 were my dad and my sister. Pretty poor.

It doesn`t help that it was St Mirren mind you. Hard to get all fired up for that. Also the team played poorly and while you could argue that the team needs a lift, I think it works both ways. When the team show heart and desire, the fans respond.

Sometimes i think the fans are concentrating on the football!, most hoops fans love the game and sometimes in these matches you want to focus on watching, not singing, i think it shows the fans love to watch the actual game. The team has to inject some up and at em, to get the fans going!

 

I guess there is a bit of a difference between playing St Mirren compared to the excitement of playing Man Utd or Barca.

There is always the one overly drunk guy who starts a song but forgets the words , so instead just shouts abuse class.

This young boy brung about 200 balloons and aske dus all to blow them up, not 1 of them worked. Nobody could get them to blow up, bit muscely * off me about to kncok the boy out because they thought he was taking the * lol/

 

It was like a library today.....that cant help the team, surely?
