There is plenty of ways to counter this. We just don't even attempt to do it. External sources of revenue should be looked at. Instead we direct our resources to signing players in countries that have a low to medium reputation that has fluctuated our income, force us into transition phases and see the end of Neil Lennon at the Club.

Crowdfunding on a subscription scheme (5,000 Celtic supporters paying £17 a month on a subscription scheme brings in £1m for example). I listened to this idea (On the Beyond the Waves Podcast) being surfaced on a sort of subscription thing because a lot of American supporters can't attend games but would like to contribute to the Club - Board got asked this during a North American Celtic Supporters Federation tour. They reluctantly refused to look into the idea because they thought that on the basis the say for example if one supporter who would like to pay £1,000 on meeting a former player or player through this sort of scheme and one who can only commit to £10 is "unfair". Sounds more like an excuse to me. Not only was that raised, they got questioned on why we never had Celtic merchandise outside the stadium in Philadelphia 2012 when Real Madrid did. Apparently they couldn't have thought about that at the time. Ironically at the time we were sponsored by Nike, from the United States by the way... You would think that the Board would make a marketing strategy on that game. Another embarrassment by the Board, completely out of their depth. (Fully expect the Lawwellites to defend the Board in their poor marketing).

Share issues, underwriting shares to boost operating capital (this would be appropriate when we sign a new Manager). We done this when we signed Martin O'Neill, this should have been executed under Rodgers (Fully expect excuses for this as well, or some sort of incoherent response because it opposes the status quo).

Or, a Transfer Marquee Fund - FC Köln did this to sign Lukas Podolski.

There is probably more sources to generate revenue but since we aren't doing it ILTC will just tell you its impossible as '*' Lawwell has done everything in his power to get us as much revenue as possible back in the PLC thread.
