I don't think anyone would say McStay is not a Celtic Legend.
Doesn't make sense why you would say the same about Lennon.

Tbf Shaun Maloney has a very similar list of credentials to what you posted there, and he's not a legend.

It's all on individual performance when it comes to being considered a legend imo.

    And service to the club.

Paolo Di Canio is technically one of the best footballers to play for us but he's nowhere near a legend.

Would he have been considered a legend if he never went on to manage us ?

    Voted yes.

How does he rank in comparison to O'Neill & Strachan in trophies won ?

If spending most of your time in the Derk Boerrigter suite qualifies you as a legend then yes:smiley-laughing002:

    Not a legend.

Not a great manager. Not the greatest footballer either.

    Am I taking the *?

Strachan and ONeill are easily better managers. Lennon wasn't exactly a great footballer for 6million was he?

Yes, he literally risked his life for the club. Wasn't a great player but reliable and a very good manager.

This. How anyone can think any different is beyond belief.
I would serious like to hear the argument from those who disagree.

There's a reason that Lenny was in the heart of 2 different teams that done well in Europe, he was a phenomenal reader of the game.

He was a big part of the reason that we got to Seville and he was a big part of the reason we got through to the last 16.

And he was the biggest reason he managed us to the last 16, getting record points for a Scottish club in the CL group stages, scoring a record amount of goals in the CL group stage for a Scottish club and doing something neither O'Neill or Strachan could do: winning awY from home in the Champions League.

You can pick things apart and split heirs but all together Lenny is a legend at this club for many different reasons, all taken together.
