I haven't met a Celtic fan with your opinion other than Ma Maw.

And she calls Izzy that wee odd looking guy on the left.

in terms of people that go to games you are definitely in the minority maybe people who aren't able to go to games have a problem with him but thats won't cause the board to sack him or for him to walk away because they don't really have a place to air there opinions and actually be heard

We live in a country where if you play for the second biggest club in the country, Rangers you can't even cross yourself. That. Is. A. *. Disgrace. Yet, it's accepted. Aye we don't live in a bigoted country, awright:56:

I am not suggesting what you are saying isnt true. I am saying I have never experienced it. So for anyone to suggest it is "widespread" I can only reply with what I have lived through and the experiences of friends and family.

I have never been caught up in an orange walk, never seen someone be attacked for being a catholic, never known of anyone not to get a job because of their religion, and never seen the slightest bit of friction between any catholic or protestant I know.

Despite having a catholic/Irish background, have gone to catholic school, and support celtic, I have never encountered a single thing I would consider sectarian or racist (in the Irish context) outwith the silly tribalism of celtic and rangers fans.

Not saying it doesnt exist. Im just questioning how widespread it is when I, nor my family, nor my friends, have ever encountered it.

Can you guys honestly say you are proud of Lennys behaviour on the touchline ? There is a fine line between being passionate about your team ( ONeil etc ) and behaving in an embarrasing manner .

Fair enough they shouldn't be allowed to march I accept that. But it still isn't direct discrimination of catholics Haven't they tried to stop the walk in the past but failed?? The O.O Claim they can't control what spectators sing at these marches that's there get out isn't it?

whatever happened to the hibs walk?

Yes, I've never been more proud of a manager. Bit off topic though is it not? Seems you just have a problem with Lenny. If you do there's plenty of threads about Neil to discuss it:50:

could you honestly justify lenny being sacked based on anything other than 2 instances of touchline behavior this season

There have been Rangers players who have crossed themselves. Rosenthal used to and one of the recent players did.

Some people are constantly looking to drag this country through the mud based on stupid football hooligans.

Not football hooligans. Read my orevious posts, the orange order has nothing to do with football.

    Rosenthal and 'another player' :56:

Oh right, so one about 15 years ago and another you can't remember. Ffs. You need to have a real look at who's dragging the country down mate.

shota arveladze was also booed off the park for them in recent history for blessing himself and booed any time he came on the park after that. just recently hernandes of man u was told he wouldn't be allowed to do his prayer routine before the match started because of safety fears at ibrox

You made a point that you couldn't cross yourself if you played for Rangers in this bigoted country.
I just said you could if you wanted to and gave an example.
So what if i can't remember who done it? what does that matter?

To say sectarianism and racism dont exist in Scotland is ridiculous to be honest. I once got called a dirty * * just for wearing a green jumper on a bus.
