Thought they all played well, some more than others but i couldn't single out anyone to have a bad game.

Rogic looks great. Very composed and the noises he made after the game in his interview seems like he has the right attitude. I like to think he is in the mould of Kaka when at AC Milan. Obviously not on the same level but i can see the same style in play. Hopefully he can push on from today's game and threaten the first team straight off the bat.

Same goes for McGeouch and the other new lad from Israel. Thought both had very good games. The former looked like a tricky wee *. Hopefully we see more of him this year. The latter was tough in the tackle and can hopefully push Izaguirre for a starting place. Good header too.

All in all, a line up I'd have liked to have seen before the game and a performance to match it. Lennon is finally using our strength in depth with utilising the squad more.

It was a very good win on a tricky pitch against ICT who always give us problems up there. I thought Marcus Fraser was MOTM with a performance of assuredness and composure that belied his young age of 18, I have been advocating for a long time on this forum for Marcus to be in the team.

Liked the looks of Gershon, very physical and aggressive in the tackle and air, and he scored a great goal that took all the pressure of us. Rogic also was very impressive on his debut and looks like he could easily fill in for Ledley or Kayal in midfield, and Dylan McGeouch had a terrific game too with a terrier like attitude.Stokesy also was in great form upfront with his movement, passing, and constant pressing of the ICT defenders.

This all gives Lenny options for the double header with Juventus

Modern day would have to be Henrik...
First 15 minutes we looked like a car crash - well, we looked like what we were - bunch of guys with virtually no game time together. ICT gave us a bit of a slap with their goal and for a few minutes afterwards it looked as though we were at a loss as to how to respond. As the seconds ticked by and we saw a wee bit more of the ball here and there, the players started to settle down and compose themselves into a team. Like getting into a new car it took a second to find all the gears but within a short time of the ICT goal, this Celtic side unfurled its wings and started to show Caley Thistle just who it was they were messing with. Link up play, mazy runs, man-beating tackles - it was all there and really was a joy to watch - although it was hide behind the couch time on every occasion the ball went into our 18 yard box. Still, three good goals, and a severe boot in the nads for our nearest rival with a team of fringe players. Happy Bhoy.

    I'm not picky.
Missed the match but saw the goals. Great to get a win before the Juventus match and good to see some of the younger players getting some match time. Nice to see Gershon getting his first goal and Miku getting one too after a great counter attack.

    Bring on Juventus now!

Was good to hear Sean South being sung in the 1st half, not often you hear that these days!

Am I right in thinking that the GB took it upon themselves to decide a while back we shouldnt sing it?

Miku has should be on the bench at least, the last time he scored we went on to beat Barcelona

Yeah, it's strange how he has scored two goals for us and both have come the weekend before massive European games.

Let's hope history will repeat itself :50:

I feared the worst there when we went behind early on and we were clearly looking like a team that had never played together before. But great credit to the players they worked themsleves back into the game and what a beuatiful goal that was to make it 1-1. Great turn of pace and movement from Rogic and what a finish from Commons. Without anybody being exceptional there was a lot of good performances. Well done to Miku. He hasn't even been on the bench for quite some time and he put in a really good hard working shift in there and was rewarded with the third goal late on. Good to see Stokes get 90 minutes under his belt as well. That will do him the power of good. Good debuts from Gershon with his goal and in particular from Rogic. That should help to settle them both in. While a great 90 minutes for Fraser to get under his belt experience wise.
Tacks another 3 points onto our lead at the top as well on a day when we could easily have been looking beyond this game.

Haven't seen the game (just the goals and short highlights) but from what I gather, Rogic was played out of position. He needs to receive the ball on the edge of the enemy third and from there will create havoc. He shouldn't be in the engine room having the ball kicked over his head all the time.

The way he set up Commons is vintage Rogic. Much faster than he looks - seems to walk past defenders and then put the ball on a plate for his colleagues.

Lennon only ever plays Commons in "the hole", its a few Celtic players best position - McCourt, McGeouch, Twardzik but they never get a game there and even Commons only plays there now and again.
