We never moved out of second gear tonight but our quality got us there in the end, thought Forrest did well when he came on :50:

Game 1 of the two crucial games safely negotiated. The save tonight from Forster which kept us in the cup was sensational. Take a bow son :50:

I think we will have a few surprises up our sleeve for McMoist on Sunday.

For me it was Ledley's best game in a Celtic jersey :50:

only caught the end of the game on bbc hunland radio, did you hear the commentator say the numbers on the Celtic strips were "a disgrace" because he couldnt tell if it was forrest or ledley who scored the second? is that all they could come up with apart from suggesting the free kick was soft that lead to the goal. Interesting to see if Butcher gets pelters for his comments against the ref?

hard victory, now rest up and bring the league cup away from hampden to paradise

I'm relieved that we've come through this tie because I always felt it was going to be a really hard match. It wasn't a great performance by us but any win in Inverness is a good win as we usually struggle up there.

Good performance from Ledley, one of my favourite players this season. Wasn't a classic match but I think we all expected that. Glad to still be in the competition.

+1...He has been our best signing this season no doubt about it....hes definetely 1 of the best players i've seen in a Celtic jersey.

Loovens shouldnt get picked ahead of Rogne, that much was clear tonight. Juarez played very well considering the ball was bobbling about all over the place. Commons never really got into the game tonight but he did win us a lot of freekicks. It's also good to see young Forrest back again and running full backs ragged.

Hooper never really got any service...a lot of people say hooper makes stokes the player he is but i think the same could be said vice versa as well....at least against smaller spl opposition.

Overall a good, professional performance from the bhoys and we can look forward to Sunday.....HAIL HAIL!!!!!!!!:shamrock::shamrock::shamrock:

joe was motm for me but i thought juarez was pretty good aswell, odd to se sammy with armband. butcher * about ref at the end, i dont think he would have been greetin if it was against rangers. i think he should be more concerned with how one of our player was able to twice get free in there penelty box to score.
