Sympathetic non-fan

Hi everyone.

I'm actually not a Celtic fan. Don't worry, I'm not here to troll.
I only have one European team and that is Arsenal. I've been an Arsenal fan since 1999 (When I was 8-years-old). I'm from Sydney, Australia.

I was looking at historical football derbies recently and became interested in the Old Firm derby between Celtic and Rangers. I became really interested in the socio-political history of Celtic. I like how Celtic fans fight for "the little guy". I also took a severe dislike to the attitude of many Rangers fans.

As you probably know, Australia is a constitutional monarchy. Though we are not formally British, our Head of State is still the Queen. I support all movements to leave the monarchy and become a republic.

I came to this forum to experience the Celtic community a little bit.

Welcome! :bbpd: I think it's really cool that you're here to experience how our fans are and are interested in the political side of Celtic Always had a fair bit of respect for Arsenal, one of the few top Premier league sides that aren't millions in debt.

Eduardo hasn't played for Arsenal for over two years. Furthermore, all teams have cheating players whether supporters will admit it or not. Also, all teams have been victims of cheating at one time or another. A few years ago Arsenal got knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool because of cheating and poor refereeing. If a player is inherently a cheat then he will cheat no matter which team he plays for. It has nothing to do with the club or the supporters. If you hold a grudge against Arsenal because of a player who left us two and half years ago I feel really sorry for you. If Spurs held a grudge I would understand because they're Spurs. We would hold a grudge against Spurs in the same situation. However, Celtic and Arsenal rarely play one another.
