Pity about the red card, I thought Celtic were well in this one up till then. The two yellows were perhaps a bit soft, but VvD should know better than to challenge on the last one. There was no need.

I read before the game n saw that the refs are known for giving yellows and reds where as the 1st leg ref was more lenient and his reffing suited our pressing style. Gutted when I read about the refs. Then van dijk probably just messed up any chance of getting a move to the epl. He was nieve to go in like that knowing he was already on a 1st leg yellow, then after this games 1st yellow, you'd think he'd be a bit more smart . * idiot just * our chances today big time

Won the ball for the first yellow, and we should have had a corner which led to the second yellow. There was as much contact in Armstrong's penalty claim, with Van Dijk's second yellow as well. Absolute joke. Officials having a shocker against Celtic in Europe, sounds familiar.

My first thought as well, why take GMS of as his pace would come in handy when were pinned back.
