Dont think anyone should be thinking about 10 lets get 7 out the way first, this season is unacceptable in terms of performance and consistency, as celtic fans we have used excuse after excuse after excuse this season.

1-1 at home to St Johnstone - Just back from Astana was the excuse, then it became the monkey of the winning run for the poor performances , then it was fatigue, then its all the injuries to key players.

    So whats the excuse now with 10 days in Dubai and 3 weeks off;

    Pish first half vs Thistle
    Pish second half vs hibs
Pish last 30 minutes hearts (excuse game was won)
Worst performance since 2010 at Killie last week (excuse it was the pitch)

This Celtic team set standards last season that will never be matched, the main word there is LAST, we then adopt more excuses comparing last season to this season, I havent really thought wow to most of our performances this seaosn except for Astana home, Rosenborg away, Anderlecht away, Sevco away Aberdeen home and away (thats 6 out of 40 odd games) i havent felt we performed well in, so in some opinions that will be met with "dont * watch then" or "oft ya *" which is fine its my opinion but we are 8 points clear with 12 games to go with 7 of them away from home!

    Aberdeen
    Hibs
    Hearts
    Hamilton (plastic pitch)
    Motherwell
    Sevco
Final team to be decided nearer split.

We have dropped points to those teams bar Aberdeen and Hamilton, the inconsistency is baffling this season, we slagged sevco for not being able to win 3 in a row or sheep for being bottle merchants, the champions and champion elect cant win 4 in a row or produce consistent performance but we arent allowed to say that!

Calling them excuses doesn't mean that things such as fatigue and injuries aren't valid reasons, for why the team has under performed at times.

I wouldnt like to see how this current team would react to a serious title challenge, fortunately I dont see one coming this season.

with the lead we have all things considered we have only realistically 2 games to take care of aberdeen twice..and beating the huns twice would be good too , i think the huns will drop more than aberdeen though and finish 3rd.

I think the top 3 will all drop a lot of point between now and the end of the season tbh, all 3 of them are inconsistent as *!

well if you fancy a wee bet we are 1/250 on and both the other 2 are 50/1 pile in.
bout the same odds between Man City and Man Utd.

We are not nearly as impressive as we were last season.........But if you judge every season we're ever to going to have on last season then we'll likely never be as impressive as that. Unbeaten and a treble. It was fantastic. But obviously there's going to be some kind of come down the season after
