aye but will we actually sign defenders with the money, or will we sign a more midfielders?
the 9.5m from mcgeady shouldn't be relied on to shore up the shitest part of our team, defence.
if teh 9.5 went towards the signings of Murphy and the isreli midfielder, then fine. but they way it's been done has been stupid. left back and center back have been problems since lennon was PLAYING with Celtic. they're still not sorted.

He have said that he wants to add a goalkeeper, a left back and a centreback to the squad for a long time, separated to the McGeady-saga. I can't see us miscalculate our budget that much.

Neil Lennon was already identifying players before he was hired, and I think he have his wishlist ready not depending on transfer fees over a few millions for that kind of players.
I can't see us suddently splash £5m. on a EPL left back as an example.

I thought all along that what celtic wante was a club to make a bid they could accept so that told other clubs what they needed to spend and i still believe IF milner goes then st martin will take him and thats were he will end up but he has to sell first too so good luck to aiden and lets see how the manager spend the cash

absolutely not mate, our future transfer actions depend on mcgeady only in as much as we'll have an extra 10 mill to spend if he leaves...this is sensationalist headlining at its worst! the point is if mcgeady stays, we will undoubtedly still strengthen further:50:

Its a sad state of affairs that a player leaving and as Lenny says he may NOT spend all the money he gets for him, depends on how good and strong a quality team Celtic will be, then again what else is new with those running the club, for seasons I have not liked them, and still dont! :47:

that's just not the case, Lenny said he personally may decide that he doesn't need to spend all that money but the board have assured him any money brought in will be his to re-invest in the team as he sees fit. People are far too critical of our board in my opinion, I don't see any other board in the country backing their manager with the kind of funds our board have and continue to

Ive lived in moscow and now live in glasgow and its better to live in moscow if im being perfectly honest, many people speak english and aiden will have a whale of a time with all the lovely nightclubs around and his ned scottish accent. As long as he stays in moscow he will be fine its a lovely city tax is 13% and at 40k a week he keeps like 33k and in england he would keep 20k, aiden must be smart enough to figure out that massive difference. Secondly as a few have stated the russian league is miles ahead of the spl in quality and the stadiums are all decent. Not a bad move tbh id certainly love to go back and live in moscow.

Far too critical of the board, they are a negative hindrance to the fitba team, they have cost the club millions in revenue, we have needed a leftback for seasons not to mention other positions, and dont tell me its nothing to do with them.
Who the * signed and brought in that disaster of a coach last season, and if Lennon aint careful with his choices of players and a first team then the board signed Lennon dont forget.
I will name three off the bat that Lennon plays are Turkish Delight not to mention others, Brown, Fortune, and Mulgrew, and the board are involved in negotiations, namely Lawwell whom I believe is a moneyman NOT a fitba man and a chancer at that! :47:
