Slight difference there though. Larsson was a world class talent, the likes of which we will probably never see here again. In contrast, Cummons is an excellent SPFL/Championship/lower Premiership footballer who has had a handful of good games in Europe but, at that level, is generally average. Cummons is not even the player he was last season and is on his way down in terms of consistent quality. So personally, I don't think I would choose him above a manager who, despite the critics, still has us on target for the title and playing in Europe after Christmas.

im not going to come here and say im RD biggest fan, but I do see what hes TRYING to do, imo from day one he changed to much to quick. one thing that gets to me about his formation, is the lone striker gets so isolated at times, but let him get his own team on the park, and take it from there, I reckon he needs this transfer window, and the summer window, and then he can be judged.

We had won 9 domestic games on the bounce before yesterday. Also yesterday we hit the post three times, were denied a penalty and had a legit goal ruled out for offside.

We've dropped 13 points after 17 games and we're 4 points clear at the top of the table. We're in all 4 competitions after Christmas.

Ronny has been here for 4 months and has accomplished all of this. Most people, when he came in the door, said that all they wanted was the league title and European qualification and that he shouldn't be judged totally on this season. Next season, when he's bedded in his own team, he can be properly judged.

He has surpassed most people's expectations this season with some excellent football and still people like yourself aren't happy :smiley-laughing002:

13/14 season - we had dropped 6 points at this stage
12/13 season - we had dropped 17 points
11/12 season - we had dropped 13 points
10/11 season - we had dropped 12 points

    14/15 season, we've dropped 13 while juggling 4 competitions.

Aberdeen might win the league. That is what RD will be remembered for.

"We're in 4 competitons but he might not win any of them."

    "Aberdeen might win the league."

One of these days you might post something halfway sensible. I'd put my money on Ronny winning the quadruple before that though.

I have seen it all before with Mowbray. People hoping it will click. Some signs of improvement. One step forward two steps back. If a team puts us under pressure in the league i am afraid this team will buckle. It is horrible to feel this way but it is the truth.

Were we not under some pressure earlier on in the season after a pretty terrible start to the league campaign and not qualifying for the CL? Since then we've gone on a great winning run and clawed our way back to the top of the table before xmas around three other competitions.
