Well obviously you aren't a lawyer as you appear to be a bit too thick. It's article 18 and it says that the lists must include the details of all the players that are to be fielded. It doesn't say that the lists must only contain players that are to be fielded ie played.

Does anyone connected with Legia - players or officials - actually have any * clue whatsoever?

They were always gonna come out, make * up and exaggerate it in the press.

Lets be honest, they only wanted to contact Celtic because UEFA didn't want to talk to them. Nobody wants to talk to them. Why would anyone want to have a private phonecall splashed all over the papers?

Hopefully this is the end of it. So heavily scripted man. They've turned it into a marketing campaign, because essentially nobody gives a * about Legia.

UEFA have refused to fast-track Legia's appeal to CAS, meaning a decision could take upto 2 months, shows you how strongly they feel about the decision!

Pretty sure they need all 3 parties to agree a fast track UEFA/Celtic/Legia

only 1 out of the 3 will agree.

Have fun in the UEFA cup Ilegia.

This smug, holier than thou attitude from Legia about had the roles been reversed is a load of pish.
I could have believed them and fully respected them if they said "Unfortunately we * up and we accept the punishment. We'll be back again next year to try to qualify."
The fact they appealed and continue to appeal means their moral high ground stance is laughable.

We tried to contact Uefa because we've prepared the application for fast tracking but after several hours we finally got an indication that Uefa will not support us.
"This effectively means that they want us to accept their decision. We are very surprised by this change of position."

If that surprises them you have to wonder how thick they really are.

I thought damiun might have been a one off, seems not:56::56::56:

I think Legia are shooting themselves in the foot again here. the CAS decision won't affect their CL this year and UEFA take a dim view of teams going above them in trying to overturn their rulings.

It is a bit inconsistent on UEFA's behalf. First the matter was urgent so one person could take the decision. And now they say that the matter can wait a few months.

    Oh well, the fun continues.

    EDIT: according to Grant Russell:

    Grant Russell ‏@STVGrant 2 uur
If UEFA won't go to quick CAS hearing, Legia can go alone & ask for reinstatement. But that'll be heard on facts of case & will likely fail.

So if UEFA would agree to the fast track procedure, they wuold not only need to refer to the facts, but they would also need to defend the merits of the rule and that is something that will take time obviously.

Yes the matter was urgent and Legia should have respected the governing body's decision. As they did not they placed an appeal in front of a 3 man panel which was also rejected.

I am guessing UEFA are * off with Legia for carrying on with this farce and as such are not going to help them any further by means of speeding up a process which UEFA have already ruled on twice. I would not be surprised if there has already been discussions between UEFA and CAS anyway.
