I expect people not to make up stuff as they go? All of the things that I listed have asolutely nothing to do with reality. I don't expect people to hope that UEFA will change their decision, but is it really to much to expect an exchange of arguments about some possible outcomes. For example why the quoted articles that Legia are saying contradict each other can be used to change the ruling or whether they are relevant backed with some actual argumentation?
Or if the ruling is changed, is Celtic going to appeal to CAS even though they said it is only between UEFA and Legia?

I expect to have a normal conversation about it, and I would expect the same from every group of people I am interacting with that do have some decent amount of brain cells and know how (are willing) to use them. Is that too much to ask of Celtic fans?

First of all, stop insulting people, you're a guest here.

Secondly, you don't seem to understand what people are saying. If Interpol are indeed investigating betting irregularities, and since Celtic's progression was based solely on Legia including a suspended player in their squad, then the only people who could orchestrate such a thing would be legia warsaw themselves. No third party, or opposition team could force Henning Berg to include the player in the squad.

So if match fixing is a concern to Interpol. The prime suspects will be Legia Warsaw employees, and that's compounded by the fact that you have a history of it.

No, people could take advantage of it after getting a signal from someone in UEFA, Celtic, or Legia that roster is ineligible which can result in walkover. Just look at the facts. Legia doesnt benefit from not advancing to 4th round. Why would they want to get kicked out of competition where they can make shitload of money? You would have to invest millions into gambling in order to actually benefit from that and its obvious that would raise a red flag.

And I am sorry for insulting people, even though I meant to insult the post itself and lack of any common sense in it, just tend not to sugarcoat my words and I will work on that.
Also, suggestion to do some research is not an insult so there wasnt any in the post you quoted, but I admit there were some before and there shouldn't be

    Mea Culpa once more.

Legias admin team * up, UEFA punished them for doing so. None of this has to do with Celtic. We got hammered 6-1, we were all disappointed that we went out only to realise that UEFA reinstated us through no fault of our own.

As a Celtic fan it will be great to be back in the CL but if anything happened and we need to drop into the Europa then so be it...... This is the views of many on this forum. Infact, we'd probably have a better run in the Europa during this transposition period.

So in my eyes their is no reason why our club would intentionally drag this out for no reason after being out put out in the first place. You really need to take a look at your own club and UEFA, not Celtic.

Edit - that should read transition period - auto correct

P.s there is a fine difference between a conservation and insulting our fans. We have fans that support clubs from all over the world on here regularly and are welcomed ( apart fae the huns)

I will be happy with either result honestly, as long as Celtic gets to play Legia in Europa League again :D (I am fine with you getting 3rd in the group and then playing Legia in the final stages). That would be hilarious, seeing the reaction of people and seeing which fans/club show more class.

But, if Maribor wins maybe some posters from here who do nothing but post 'partying in champions league' will get a serious slap in the face. Which would be hilarious as well.

Yeah, I will cheer on Celtic though since I know absolutely nothing about Maribor and I like Celtic before they started selling out and before I got to know some members of the club's fanbase, but it wouldnt be the end of the world if Celtic loses either.

    Last time:rolleyes:

It leads to a forfeit of 3-0 in one leg not a walkover, so your guys missing easy chances are the ones at it if anybody:87:

Can I ask how exactly are Celtic "selling out" mate?

What would your team do in our position?

Edit* Or what do you think your team would do in our position?

Selling out as in selling players without bringing quality replacement in.
Doesnt walkover= forfeit? No idea what the terminology is, don't pretend you didnt get the point.

edit: and when it comes to Legia: if you asked that question two years ago I would say they would do what Celtic has done. If you ask that question now though, I think they would let Celtic get through knowing where their place is based on level they display and just try to improve so next time they can get into the champions league based on the results ont he pitch. You can laugh all you want, because most chairmans are business-minded, but that's not the case with new ownership-duo at Legia. Those guys are fans, they love sport because of the purity of rivalisation, instead of the cut-throat mentality they deal with day-to-day in their own businesses

Some classy banter from our aggreived Legia supporter Damien13ster:

"I would expect the same from every group of people I am interacting with that do have some decent amount of brain cells and know how (are willing) to use them. Is that too much to ask of Celtic fans?

Can you people at least do some research before speaking?

And you are not the first one saying something stupid

but I am allergic to idiocy and 90% of posts here of people who have nothing to add

maybe some posters from here .......will get a serious slap in the face. Which would be hilarious as well."

Those polish fans certainly are a right laugh eh?
