Would have to be mourinho for me,hes a brilliant manager. We'd never see him in the dugout as he wouldnt take the * from the media and sfa like all the other managers do so he'd be constantly touchline banned.

Realistically though id love to roy hodgson, imo the best manager outside the 'big 4' and MON. He's done wonders at fulham especially in the past 2 seasons.

Just imagine the stick egil olsen would get of the media for playing the long ball :56:

Decent manager, decent past record but dont think he could handle the pressure in glasgow.

My first choice would be Hitzfeld, won the champions league with Borussia Dortmund when Lambo was there, had success everywhere he has been, am suprised he is managing Switzerland and a premiership team has not come in for him.

    Hodgson a close second.

If i could have any manager in the world it would be Guus Hiddink! Not sure who could realistically take Celtic forward at the moment though. Mark Hughes maybe? He would at the very least give us some sort of consistancy.

right now anyone but the current tosspot.but hodgeson is a very good realistic shout, bags of experience in europe ,premiership and at international level also seems to get the best out of any group of players he has inherited.

I like Hiddink as well. He is someone who could get the best out of our players. MON was good at taking players and doing this. Although I thought WGS had his faults (zonal marking), he also managed to get a group of players not as good as did Jansen. We do still have good players, it's just about motivating them. Some react to encouragement (probably Sammy and Aiden) and some react to a boot up the *. Hiddink is probably good enough to figure out how to deal with each player individually. I'd have Lennon as assistant as he knows the players that are here and can give any new man advice on them.

Hodgson has plently of experience managing Inter, Grasshoppers,Malmo and Xamax when he knocked us out of Europe. He also managed Blackburn when Sutton scored around 25 goals in a season for them.

Well, since we're wishing for the impossible, I'd want Big Jock Stein back! He'd sort that lot out pronto!
