    If Tierney is going to be missing for an extended period then we need a backup LB more than RB (Ralston, Lustig, Gamboa) and CB (Benko, Boyata, Ajer, Jozo, Bitton)

    Don’t disagree at all, just think if Benkovic and Boyata potentially leave this month centre half takes far greater importance.

    In an ideal world we get a centre half, a right back and a goalkeeper!

    The centre back situation isn't going to cost us the league this season, a complete lack of creativity at times and physicality up top was what was going to cost us the league if anything and that's been addressed to a point. Our second most pressing concern has to be the right back position as that is the weakest area on the pitch right now (provided Ntcham and Brown aren't playing) and offers the opposition someone to target, take that away and then it's probably the goalie. So in the short term the forward line (sorted-ish, maybe need some proven experience up there) and right back are priorities, then we have to get two centre backs and a goalie early in the summer window in time for the qualifiers. Would honestly say, if we manage that we're a pretty complete team if Weah stays for an extra 12 months.

    Voted CB, but if they have McKenna in mind just don't bother. Would much rather go with Bitton again in qualifiers.

    My thoughts exactly. Ajer is good enough to start in my opinion but lustig is starting to break down (don’t get me wrong Absoutely love him one of my all time favorites but it’s time to think of the future) and he needs to be replaced

    Right back 100%. Yes, centre back has to be addressed but I can't see Ralston being the answer (right now at least), but Lustig has needed replaced for about 18 months now imo.

    Would risk the centre half situation for the qualifiers so lustig never to be first choice again.

    Talking about the CL qualifiers lustig was either at fault or the goal came down his side for every goal we conceded in the qualifiers.

    Also getting lustig to * would also greatly diminish the small chance of their not being a CL qualifer situation

    I know it's not popular but if boyata is here for the rest of the season then just 1 CB so we can go back to 3-5-2.

    If he's leaving this window then 2 CBs, obviously it's not that simple.

    I'd have returning to a 3-5-2 over a new RB. I'm convinced with the three attacking players brought in so far that is what Rodgers is looking to do.

    Got to be Right Back. Lustig is our biggest weakness, it’s now even said publicly by players / teams we’ve faced.

    CB is a priority as well but if we have Boyata and Benkovic til the end of the season that’ll do. Then have the summer window to replace.
