Rasmussen is an out and out finisher he can't hold the ball out worth a *. Murphy is the best target man that we have.

We need somebody who can hold the ball up and score. I miss Hartson and Sutton :54:

as i said the back four isnt working for us and when we had the back 3 under o'neil we conceded less goals than any british team in top flight ad go through to a european final u cant argue with facts we are losing games due to Major defensive errors i moved out 2 australia for a few years and even i can see that the games we are winning were Grinding out results now for me as a season ticket holder i dont wanna see my team barley getting results this is celtic football club i want to be winning comfortably if we are to be taken seriously in europe. celtic have failed to capitalise on ragers dropping points for the past 2 seasons everytime celtic have had the oppertunity to take over the huns the have failed and its frustrated me so if that means try somthing that works soo well under oneil i say so be it.

Fact is the heyday of O'Neills 3-5-2 was 2003, and even back then it was all to clear that to ruin a 3 man backline simply play 1 up front. McLeish worked that out with mediocre players.

Nowadays when every SPL club plays against us with 1 up front we'd have 3 centre-backs looking after 1 player and therefore outnumbered in other areas of the pitch.

You said it yourself but our downfall has been major defensive errors - not down to 2/3/4/5/6 at the back.

The solution is - harder (smarter?) work in training or new personnel (either CB's or coaches).

There is an argument that defensive tweaks to our strategy would help (play a specialist defensive midfielder) or more defensive full-backs. But again we've had 10 men behind the ball only to be outdone by silly mistakes. These mistakes should be ironed out by management, our range of CB's in theory should be one of the very best in Scotland

our play needs to change 2 defenders that don't move from the 18yd box, play 5- 6 across the middle, 2-3 in the penalty box or abouts the likes of hooper, Ra's, or stokes, and all play to be played though the middle of the park, as the wing play is no good, as its the same. as when we have a corner nothing happens, waste of time as no one can head the ball in our team
