    being realistic....

    Craig Levein -

Positives - The man is an amazing man manager, reminds me a bit of MON, he is tactically sound and has the heart of a lion!
Negitives - I'm pretty sure he's actually a director of football or sumin too, so actually we might not even get him! I would pay major compensation for his services and make sure he is going to be secured in a decent 2-3 year contract, nane of this 1 year rolling *!
It'd be a sorry sight to see him leave Dundee United, but just how far can he take DDU.

Alternatives - Willie McStay...if anybody knows our players and how to get the best out of them its Willie! It might be the right time to see if he can cut it at this level, I mean who really wants to be a reserve coach their full career. No disrespect intended to reserve coaches.

We'd definately be in the running for Mowbray I just noticed that West Brom are getting relegated. Watched his interview on the bbc and it makes me like the guy even more.

Lets be brutally honest here, if GS had the dundee utd he'd do the same if not better than Craig Levein.

Gordon Stracham is in my mind terrible he buys crap players, picks the wrong team and picks JVH(who my granny is fatster than). He also plays Mcgeadey on the left naka on the right so they can cut in and shoot which may work with messi and henry but dosent with to players who can't score. Get owen coyle or Tony Mowbray

Problem is get a new manager and we will still be stuck with mainly the same team as the new manager will not get a huge transfer kitty therefore I'd be looking for someone that can get the best out of mediocre players (as unfortunately that's what we've got)

As mentioned Craig Levein would be a decent shout, although he's not been tested at a club with pressure to win every week so would therefore be a risk (as would any new manager).

I honestly think GS has taken us as far as he can but getting any new man in will come with it's own risks, and if the board does not financially support the new man then we could be in real trouble.

He needs to go purely because even if he was to get 10 in a row he still wont win alot of people over. Im bored of the whole Strachan thing now and want him to leave purely so i aint gotta listen to it

Craig Levien should have been our manager in January, it was plain to see that Strachan is just lucky & that it had run out.

He's a gormless fantasist, who thinks that the players who like him are brilliant.

bilic as this is realistic, he earns less than burley who earns next less than £500k a year, so is certainly within our budget

I shall pray that WGS will change his mind and stay:50:

But looking on to the next few seasons I'd really like Craig Levein to take over and spend some cash on the team. However I can see why the board will choose a manager from elsewhere who has the know of what's going on a bit further than the UK where an SPL manager can't.

    Dreamin - Jurgen Klinsmen
    Realistic - Gordon Strachan/Craig Levein

I'd be fairly happy with Levein or Mowbray as anyone else I would take is unrealistic (Bilic, Moyes etc)

The problem with Bilic is he has only managed at international level which is apparently much easier I think he is too much of a risk and I think the club would need to spend mega to get the team he would want.

Moyes ain't gonna happen cos hes said he doesn't want to manage either of the old firm and he has just signed a new contract with everton and neither is Rijkaard as he would require millions to assemble a decent team.

We will get a manager that knows how to work within a budget cos the days of celtic spending 6 million on a single player is gone.

Owen Coyle would be a realistic choice.
Definately time for change of manager and summer clear out of players.
Worst i have seen in my life at Celtic Park if we performed like that at our own jobs we would be on the dole.
