Hooper's a better finisher for me, better movement, better passing, better at holding the ball up, better at linking up with other players, better at retaining possesion, better at mixing up his game, stronger...

Well the stats point to Griffiths as the better finisher.

Better movement? Hooper but no by much.

Better at holding up the ball? Hooper

    Retaining possession? Hooper

    Mixing it up? Draw.

    Stronger? Hooper

    Speed? Griffiths

    Acceleration? Griffiths

Bit of magic, ie banging one in the pokey out of nothing? Griffiths

If you look at La Thumbs goal to game ratio with us, you must consider him a top player also then. That right?

No, they don't. Hooper was more clinical, Griffiths misses a lot of chances but he does make those chances for himself a lot so fair enough.

Hoopers movement is so far above Griffiths for me, majorly. So much so that Griffiths pace/acceleration doesn't matter, Hooper makes far more use of what he has.

Mixing it up it's Hooper, Griffiths sits on the shoulder, runs the channels and wants to get into shooting positions. He's not a striker that can take the two centre backs and boss them, he can't drop deep and play as a kinda false 9, he doesn't adapt his game.

Griffiths is nowhere near Hooper for me, as much as I like his attitude and the bit of magic he can produce. He's comparable to Stokes for me, Hoopers a step above both.

Griffiths hold up play, link up play, first touch, one on one close finishing and awareness of what's around him in terms of support, danger and offside call, can all be absolutely appalling..

He's nowhere near Hooper, as hard as that is to take..

    Hooper.

I like McGeady a lot more but we need a striker.

What do you mean no they don't?:56: Aye they do the stats point to Griffiths being the better finisher. It doesn't matter how much you got a hardon for Hooper, Griffiths has a better goal to game ratio. Griffiths makes loads of chances for himself so he's bound to miss more, yet his goals ratio is still better.

You don't see Hooper running the channel though do you! No. Griffiths doesn't adapt to his game? He can play wide or up top. Seems like very good adapting to me.

Stokes is *, he's way below both them. And all three are all way below players like Hartson or Sutton.

It should be noted, a like hooper better and a think Hooper edges Griffiths as the better player. A just don't want him back for that reason he's not much better than what we got.

Oh hooper by miles. Getting shot of McGeady for £9.5m was the best bit of business we've ever done.

Hooper has a better shots to goal ratio. Hence better finisher, more of his shots go in. Stats point to Hooper :50:

I disagree with the rest of that, so no point continuing this any further really.

Aye yer right it was a great bit of business because that money helped build the best part of Lennons team but, bringing him back a better more mature player into a good Ronny Deila team where he'd be much more effective would be another great piece of business

Can I say both.... I like McGeady because he's the first player I learned about when I discovered the club. For Hooper he was my favorite striker at the time other than Niall McGinn and really enjoyed watching him score.

Well Griffiths does shoot a lot thats always going to be the case:smiley-laughing002: Hooper scores less goals though:86:

Fair enough mate, just one thing, do you not agree Sutton and Hartson were better than Hooper?
