inverness have given us tough matches recently with us at full strength, there wasnt much in it and they had a huge slice of luck with their goal.the younger players are only going to get better if they get a chance to play in games like this ,we just havent got the top quality attacking players

 

Well yes it was because Twardzik was lost and had to be substituted at half-time.

 

Just as well it's not two points for a win still or those three dropped points would have been near impossible to catch up.

 

Should have scored first half, Commons and Pukki should have scored and Biton hit the bar.

Zaluska should have caught that cross instead of pushing it against O'Connell.

Johansen was poor when he came on.

Not too fussed about team selection but expected more from some of the fringe guys looking to impress.

 

I would rather the manager did what he did today and found out about some of our players than find out in a big important game.

They asked ronny was it a mistake to make so many changes and he said.......we will see on tuesday.

 

But we would have won and thats all matters because its augast players are still fresh 2 games in 4 days isn't going to kill them

He was brought in as a first team player and hasn't kicked a ball despite the fact that we've been utterly woeful in that department at times since January. I'm not a gambling man but if I were, I'd bet on him not having much of a future here.

 

Yes, I think this is an important point too. A lot of those players out there today looked like bored regulars, not ones out to shine and win a berth. You have to wonder what they're thinking and whether they deserve to be at the club when they act like that.

 

Inverness had their whole team positioned on their 18 yard box, and this is a tie we traditionally have trouble at, still Inverness were lucky to scrape all three points.We have to hand it to Ronny for playing a makeshift team as it gave us all the opportunity to see who is going to make it here or not, Ronny will have drawn some definite conclusions.

Big one for me is Pukki is out the door. No commitment or desire from this player, looks homesick to me.

Tuesday is far, far more important. And finally we need a quality striker and left back, but where do we get them, and at what price ?

Call me a happy clapper but that actualy went better than I thought it would. We really should have won the game, especially the last 10/15 minutes of the first half we played some great stuff and should have scored at least a couple.

The defence looked as solid as I've seen it all season too.

Ronnie has has managed the team in over 10 games he is well aware that is his second string team 4 of the starting 11 would be trusted in a big game so I doubt he would ever through that lot out to play bayern.
