Well part of my reasoning was looking at the types of players we had in midfield. Out of everyone since WGS, Nakamura and Crosas have the most similar playing style to Ki. So I could only give one of the three a place in the team - and it was obviously going to be Naka.​

Brown's has a different style and offers something else to the team. So Ki and Brown were essentially never in competition for a place in my team. Ki competed with Naka and Crosas, whereas Brown competed with Robson, Hartley and​

 

I am currently wondering whether people are discussing the same Crosas I have a vague recollection of - IE, a lovely lad, very devoted to the club, but simply not good enough to command a first team spot!

He played 50 odd times in 3 years, and occasionally looked good, but there does seem to be some romantic reflection going on here.....

Having said that, the only goal he ever scored during his time here was a * peach.

Haha..yes i could of but unfortunately my life is ran through my * excuse of a phone as i have no computer and my options are very limited.

Hinkel-couldn't defend
Naka-very overrated player.In big games,other than his free kicks we would might aswell have played with 10 men
Mcgeady-Good player would definitely be in the squad.More effective than Commons ? debatable.
JVOH-didn't rate him.Rarely played to his strengths.
forgot Caldwell- no explanation needed really lol

 

Hinkel - good player
Naka - we shall just forget the screamer againt rangers from.like 40 yards shall we ? Or the very important free kicks ? Manchers United 2 ? League winner at killie ?
Best passer ive seen in a while could splint defenses he would be awesome at finding hooper with the ball.
Caldwell - prone to a few mistakes but only person who I think would be better in this era or strachans was bobo.

hard to pick the wingers tbh, i see samaras, forrest, mcgeady, and commons all being awesome in those positions

and tbh, whoever said stokes hasnt proved it in europe; well he hasnt been given a proper chance. whenever he has played in europa league with us ( usually coming on as a sub ) he has played pretty decent, seem to remember him getting a double against rennes in the only game he started? ( correct me if im wrong )

Nakamura was very overrated IMO, wouldn't have him in my team.
