I really like the look of Landry. His reading of the game is very good, both defending and attacking, and he is strong and fast. On the rare occassions he has given the ball away he tends to win it back with an impossible legs-bent-round-the-guy tackle and it's good to see a midfielder finally taking a bit of responsibility.

I know he couldn't shoot a BB gun but I'd sign him up in January. Good foil for a Donati/Crosas/Zhi (?) type.

Well he ain't coming over to wash the shirts.

Of course, he is only, what, 19? It'll take him a good while to settle here so I don't think we'll see him for a few months.

Quite like Mizuno in that respect, actually, yeah. Hopefully he'll do better.

An inconsistent player that should not be even whispered when talking about a player like Makelele, its insulting.

IMO, he shown no good reason to sign him. I think Celtic should be out scouting for something better and have them signed when his loan deal expires.

He's had some great games and some very poor games, needs to be more consistent imo, but overall a decent signing for us so far but not spectacular - I'd still have him in the centre of midfield over any of our other players just now.

I like him and hope we sign him, he's better than all out other centre-mids. Crosas cant play in every game, Brown is like N'Guemo but too scared to try anything and Robson is average at best and too slow.

I would have signed him after six games or so. I agree he can be inclined to give the ball away in some games, but let's face it, who else in the Celtic teams wins the ball for us more than the wee man ?

It's not easy playing with different partners every game, he's had Brown, Robson, Donatti, Grosas so far, I think he has to get either Robson or Grosas as his regular partner, then I think we'll see the best of N'Guemo. He is also building up his strength and stamina for the Scottish game, I think this guy will soon become one of the first names on the teamsheet. :bbpd:

Smashing player, in the lead for my player of the season so far! Just needs to work on the passing, or could this be people not making the runs and getting into space?

No comparison between him and Sno, Sno is and always will be a complete dumpling that will show a glimpse of something once every ten games. He was a five a side footballer at best.

I think both Crosas and N'Guemo have both suffered from over criticism based on 1 or 2 games personally. N'Guemo came out the blocks flying then had a couple of bad games then everyone decided he wasn't good enough. Exact same thing happened with Crosas when he was really poor in a couple of games in a row. They're 2 young guys in a different country trying to bed into a different culture and have been given a tenth of the time Scott Brown has yet both have provided more tangible product in a tenth of the games he has.

He had a great game yesterday but that is the first time he has played so well in my opinion. The guy has had to be subbed 5 or 6 times so the jury is well and truly out.

Its plain daft to judge Brown on this season when the management has admitted he has been a crock. Last season he was POTY and EPL managers are on record of rating him. For me that is the closest we will het to an objective judgement on a guy whose starting baseline default level of affection from the fans is low. No amount of debate will persuade me he has the same level of affection and tolerance for faults as guys like McGeady or O'Dea.

So I cant take all the super negative judgements on him seriously. N'Guemo can only dream of doing what Brown can when on top form. Its absurd to compare a simple sitting MF with an unusual if inconsistent player like Broony that last time he was fit was POTY and has EPL admirers.

So do not compare N'Guemo and Brown because that are not competing for the same place IMO. That dealt with, I do think that N'Guemo looks to be a potentially good out and out sitting MF. He is the only such player at the club IMO and so he may well secure a CMF spot. Its the other spot that is normally occupied by a more attacking player that Brown is fighting for.

N'Guemo is better than Brown I think, N'Guemo will get better when he settles and learns the language and he is already been good for us this far.

I've always felt Brown is too scared to do anything, we know he can sking guys and get forward but he doesnt do it enough. It's like he think "I cost £4million if I try and go on a run and lose the ball the fans are going to moan" and stuff like that. N'Guemo doesn't care, N'Guemo always tries to take players on and carry the ball forwarrd and try long passes, Brown always looks to scared incase he cant do it knowing he cost a lot and people are going to start moaning and groaning.

I agree. Brown's problems (when fit) are in his head. He has ability to be devastating that most players can only dream of but seems to be nervous. I think you are right about the fan issue. I think a player can sense it when they have to perform twice as well as some of the more favoured sons to even get acceptance from the fans. I think he is one of those less favoured players along with Hinkel, Caldwell, Maloney etc who have to be really good to get any regard while some fans think the sun shines out of the arses of Aidan, Darren and Artur. I personally do not think its entirely rational and does not always correlate with form. Aidan has had a far longer and protracted period of being a frustrating player (6 years or more!!!) than Broony and Artur's form last season was a total disgrace, a man completely off the rails and puts Broony below par form this season into persepective. I dont really rate a lot of fan opinion because a lot of it is not really fair.

N"Guemo is a pain in the * player ,meaning he is always at your ankles and doesnt give up easy, which is his good side to the game ,but the annoying thing about him is ,when in posession of the ball he can make loose passes during the games but he recovers the situation and he gets some adoration from the fans but he shouldnt be making these loose passes to start with ,often or not it the easy pass that catches him out and he needs to work on this ,he can graft there's no doubting that but he needs to tidy up his game for me.

have u seen a handsome hun
i think he's been okay without being brilliant. very inconsistent. dont know if its attitude , concentration or a lack of a top class players ability..........i dont think he's done enough YET to merit a full time deal.
when he starts winning man of the matches against the huns and utd and in europe then we should keep him.
