How was he one on one? He had two players at the side of him and tried to chip the keeper. Not a sitter in my eyes.

Anyone have the highlights that include our chances? Lots of talk of sitters being missed.

I’m seriously * off at that * show today.

A pathetic line up and the fact Ange didn’t change it at half time or before is beyond comprehension.

Warmest day of the year so far and I’ve got clothes on!

I don't know what it is, but we always seem to get beat when Taylor does not play or goes off injured against the Hun.

The problem today was the diamond shape midfield were they had four midfielders to our three and their three midfielders press our three players and allows cuntwell to have a free role to wander for space .
Just look at the second half we couldn't get out our half as their midfield shut down the space to our attackers and Ang needs to have a plan B with change of formation and tactics.

we must have watched a different moment in the game then? He got in front of the two Sevconians with the keeper to beat and he tried the Hollywood finish instead of hard and low. It was an absolutely criminal miss.

Haven’t got any highlights, but OH missed a total sitter just after they went 1 up followed by Abada about 10 minutes later, O’Riley should probably have scored as well in the 2nd half.

Ange should not be above exemption from criticism either.
That was a game that was screaming out for a double pivot with Iwata and McGregor to screen the back four.
Playing Bernabei was ludicrous considering he has not trusted him in Hun games up until now.
And not making three subs at HT was bizarre when we were under the cosh.
That game was made for Giakoumakis, Oh looks a downgrade, third striker needed now.

hes not going to do it so that means we have to get better players in our midfield to be able to keep the ball and dribble past their press and create the openings

it was familiar in respects to the celtic b team in the glasgow cup the huns were stopping us being able to turn with the ball in the midfield and play forward putting pressure on us having to control the ball perfectly to turn around them and play out, * mcstay kept saying we have to play wide to beat it

against all other opposition in scotland they cant do the press against us as well as the huns so we run over the top of them

the huns are pretty good at the pressing but we dont seem to be improving against their use of it, its difficult as there were 3 players around the recieving player meaning he had to control it perfectly or it was getting nicked from him or if he tried to turn it was getting nicked from him so the option at times was a first time pass back to the player who passed it to him

you wonder if the problem is the defender is playing hospital passes at times or if there are not enough players showing to recieve the ball or if were individually or as a team losing confidence because we cant play out like we did last season

I don’t buy the league being over pish to be honest. That’s no excuse for that performance today. It may well be a reason for the performance today, that does not mean it’s an acceptable excuse for it though. We were like rabbits caught in the headlights, and in all honesty, we totally shat ourselves.

Great description of the problem today , if you watched their press they were stopping our midfield being able to turn and play through the press ,in effect they starved the attack although at 2 nil they dropped the intensity of the pressing and even more at 3 picking off our midfield to counter attack us .

    Agreed.

His Starting Lineup was a disgrace.

To turn up to the Shitpit without you best team is a noob Bealesque move.

To finish the game with that team is fair enough when we have won it, but to start it was unreal, we all new what the huns would do coming out the traps at home.

The fact he never even changed it at half time was also baffling, but waits till the 3rd goes in to use all subs. He is right with players that dont want to be here but yes that game had Gio all over it. We have nothing upfront if Kyogo in not there and Oh is such a let down.

He deserves a bollocking for that tbh, regardless of what he has done this season. As i said i dont mind getting beat but to get mauled by a mediocre team and not change anything when we all see it was * move.

He really needs to learn from that moving forward....It aint the first time hes messed up in these games with subs and formations.

Really sad he went down this route today.

But......We have a Treble to win. He has done fantastic so far as has the team and deserve to be 10 plus ahead also.....So lets hope its just a blip.

There has to be a drop off when the edge of competition is gone, I'm not saying we didn't try more that other factors come into it , keeping fit for cup final , changing key team players and psychologically knowing the battle was actually over last wknd ...that has to kill the hunger no matter how well you were motivated.

    A tactical observation from today.

The majority of times that we lost the ball came from us being too narrow.

Inverted full backs playing short passes into midfield that invites pressure and we kept losing possession needlessly.

Then because the full backs are inverted, the Huns have loads of space on the flanks to attack. CB’s get dragged across / out of position as a result.

The huns changed players as well. On paper, we went out with the better team. Players who should have been chomping at the bit to make an impression were given opportunities. They didn’t take them. That performance today was unacceptable. Ange will know this as well. He won’t have sent the players out to play half arsed, but that’s how it came across. I think players let him down badly today. He should have changed it at half time I would say though.

Please every * that's greeting, in my mind I'm usually quite calm but seeing some folk losing its wild here. We have absolutely ruined these *. Treble treble, the huns are a mess.

Think Ang threw a few players in the deep end to see how they would cope and they failed miserably and that game and result would have told him today what he needs in the summer.

When is their open top bus? Just so I can stay away from their celebrations at winning the "Runners Up Cup"

It shows how desperate they are when a win in meaningless game that we didn't take seriously means so much to them.
