Iwata would be my choice. Don’t see him going for that though. Probably Turnbull.

Id go the same but Maeda over Abada. This type of game probably suits Maeda more than most.

A 20 minute appearance to help stave off the desperate aerial offensive of a (hopefully) trailing horde.

I'm not * myself as much about going to the bigotdome now that we have a CH in and some pace of the flanks. My main concern is still their height advantage and they will definitely target Taylor again. Matondo will also need watched as he does have a burst of speed (although he can run around like a headless chicken at times) and Cantwell, although a right horrible little *, does have a lot of energy and will be going down quicker than a two bob hooker looking for a penalty.
Hopefully we get a decent LB in before the window closes however, we have been saying that since KT left and still nothing has happened.

I dont understand how so many people have Bernardo in their first team to start against the huns aleady. You can only chuck a player in so soon if he is absolute quality like Hatate or we have an injury crises which I dont think we do in central midfield. Hes too much of an unknown quantity although he looks promising.

For me Calmac, Homes and O'Reilly should start. I can see Iwata being played if he doesn't get played at centre back though which I dont really mind either as even though hes not a world beater he will add a presence in there.

No been as nervous about this game since their pumping yesterday.

New boys to start, early goal, get the life sucked oot the stadium early on and hear cries to sack the mole before our subs come on.

Bugged the * out of me last season, with that showpony dancing rings around our midfield and nae * whacking him, we are way too nice, imagine what Scott Brown was screaming at his TV while watching that Barbie doll was doing his party piece.
    We lack steel.
I will cringe if Turnbull starts. Iwata all day for me.

Some of these lineups imply that we're now playing with an AM rather than a DM, is that the case?

Yes, generally Rodgers plays two 8s and a 10 double pivot as opposed to Ange's 6 and two 8s single.

Probably why McGregor has looked so poor this season as he's not the one responsible for taking the ball from deep and starting attacks now.

Thanks, I'd missed the last couple games due to work. I think Calmac was always better in that role farther forward, it'll just be a case of him adapting to it again.

    Hart
    AJ
    Phillips
    Lager
    GT
    Iwata
    McGregor
    O'Riley
    Yang
    Maeda
    Kyogo

they will go with Sterling at LB if Barasic is out so let Yang at him - from what I've seen he doesn't look overly amazing at defending. Maeda will give Tav and Goldson the fear as he always does.
He won't start Iwata but as much as we don't want to admit it Cantwell needs clamped and Iwata is probably best equipped to do that. McGregor not good enough defensively. If he plays Turnbull we will be overrun

    2-1 Celtic

How are you starting Bernardo over Holme or O'Reilly?

Again. What made Hatate "pure quality" at the time to be thrown in against the huns but Bernardo isn't?

I really don't understand how people keep spectacularly missing the point that the likes of Hatate and Kyogo were as much unknown quantities before they came here.

Start with Turnbull that midfield will be overun in the game and most importantly we need to match them physically so no shrinking violets or we are * against a poor sevco team .

Turnbull should be nowhere near this game.

Hatate didn't make his debut against the Huns, he has played and trained with the team
