Fingers crossed he does it when they play next then, cos am sure as * no confident bout this one for us.

And they’re * *. Honestly, make sure the pass to fullbacks are towards the halfway line, pin them up the pitch or just sit behind the two if they still push forward. And they will get slaughtered.

    I don’t think we’ll do that but

We beat Aberdeen (sin Hayes). No reason we can't beat a * Hun team if we turn up.

    Just got to turn up.

Think this will be very close to be honest, couldn't call it either way. They'll come right at us which will suit Rodgers and we can do damage. It's the injuries and mentality of our lot i worry about.

3 or 4 good signings and any kind of win and * that would do a lot to convince some of us.

Right now Duk and Miovski are probably better than what they have. Unless Roofe manages two weeks in a row.

But we had Carter-Vickers and Nawrocki for that game as well.
If we don’t get an option in for the weekend, who do we play?

I vote Iwata rather than Scales.

Aye, Iooked up our team too on the day and you are right on the difference.

I'd go Johnston CB instead of Scales. If not Johnston I'd play Scales.

Difference between putting a player straight in when signed and just randomly playing them because everyone else has had a chance and it's their turn!

Mate Johnstone in the World Cup went RCB for a couple games and was in the worst player team, first game he was RB - brilliant. In a 2 at the back * that man.

Plus, at RB he’s one of our best players, I’d rather just play Ralston there if we’re forcing a RB into the middle. At least we still have our best RB.

If we get an experienced CB who’s had a full pre-season or games behind him in on loan, straight in for me. Otherwise Iwata. We can’t play Scales. Unless it’s LB actually, wouldn’t moan too much at that

Didn't actually rate him in the WC at all, even when I knew he was our target. Trying to remember which games I saw him at all - definitely Croatia, but one other too.

Get what you are saying with keeping him at RB and playing Ralston at CB instead, but just can't see how we play Iwata there given Rodgers hasn't shown any faith in him yet.

Rodgers has been dire in managing the squad. Can't keep on * over everyone and expect much from anyone. Moral is honking already. If he wanted to play Iwata should have done it 2 games back.

Aye that’d have been him RCB games mate, his first game they played Belgium he was RB and he was * hot, we werent linked to him yet and I assumed he must have been a diff guy the next two games. Just a wrong position for him, even as a quite forward thinking RCB.

Put him at CB at Ibrox he’ll probably lose all the goodwill he’s built up so far, like an Unfit LB Jura getting roasted off Sakala.

Aye Iwata getting ready for it would be better but Scales had played excellent pre-season and had earned a chance with 3 out infront of him. He gubbed that chance, he was frail as *. He can’t start at CB at Ibrox, he’ll crumble. Iwata can only play for me because, * else can we try and do, we know what won’t work out the options.

Jura wasn't unfit. He wanted out and lay down as he was in a huff. Not the first time either. Never that keen on him but that did it for me.

Don't think Iwata has had a good game at CB so for me definitely shouldn't be him.

If Johnston can play CB then him, or Scales. Get what you are saying about goodwill if it goes wrong but Johnston rarely gets criticised and always gets praised, even for just regular performances, so should be fine.

Exactly what I mean with that built up good will mate, Ange said before the game he was unfit, and after he misjudged how much. The games JJ played after that he bust a gut to show thats not how he should be remembered, think the next game at RB the following game he was excellent if I remember right. Then he left, I was never as much a fan of him as many. He frustrated the life out of me actually because his quality was clear but not shown enough for me. But that game, being brought on at LB was as unfit a guy ye’ll see since Aaron Mooy playing against them shortly after :56:

Ange asked a few guys he trusted to play through injuries and fitness issues, me and you are fans of Ralston before most if I remember right, and can mind pointing it out that Ange had mentioned a few times he could trust him to play through issues if he needed it.

He done it with JJ, cos he did not trust Berny, quite rightly anaw. I’d have picked half fit JJ over Berny.

Iwata I’ve seen have one good game there last season, and it was when him and Starfelt were only facing runs in behind them. Both could cover and sweep up very well. Tbf mate, I don’t trust any option we have at CB to play well even though a like the look of big Lagerbelke. But we’re trusting him to immediately be the man at the back.

In all honesty, I take Ange's comments as demonstrating he couldn't trust Juranovic to play as he wasn't up for it. When he put him on you could see Ange wasn't comfortable with it. Worth a watch back. Just no better choice.

Juranovic for me was a player who made the easy things look easy, and didn't try much more. With the exception of that Huns game where he was on fire.

Ralston, Ange (and now Rodgers) asked too much of and it's showing this season. The guy wrecks himself to be available. CCV and Johnston have had less severe injuries, surgery and recovery but Ralston is the one on the park when they aren't and attempting to play through it because there isn't anyone else, and getting slated for it. Did it last season too.

The fact he put him on means that he did trust him to. I think Jura found it easy up here, and took it easy, so we didn’t see what we should have. Hence his first 5 games or so in Bundesliga he set up more than he did overall for us.

Ralston done so much more in that way because he made sure, that first Ange year if we needed a match winning cross or goal or to level, Ralston or Rogic was usually the one to do it.

Think with Ralston playing through injuries or not being fully fit, managers will know he will, he will know he’s being asked cos it’s needed and a chance to cement a place down and the manager knows that when the first team mans back, he can be rested up because they won’t play him much.

Think that’s a factor into him picking up more injuries more often. You can tell he didn’t really have a pre-season and has been catching up.

He needs a run at fitness as well, whereas Johnston for 60 minutes really didn’t. He just is one of those guys I think.

We need 90 from him this weekend, the difference with him there and not on the weekend was so noticeable. He’s our only full back that knows to overlap and not accidentally going into the middle and checking their movement out of habit. Personally when it comes to Taylor, this weekend just let him do that. He’s so much better and his support to Calmac makes him so much better, he done it once against St Johnstone and he done a belter of a through ball. Just play to strengths, they * have had 6 in the centre of the pitch at times this season. They do that we’re getting destroyed in there.
