Both games we’ve played them this season, I’ve come away thinking we’re a level above them. If we turn up we will win.

Very controversial. He's crucial in these games at both sides for us.

His relentless pressing means Tavernier doesn't get as much time to cross and he's always a threat when they over-extend and we're on the counter (Balogun red card for bringing him down and goal Morelos' sloppy pass as 2 examples immediately)

Dropping him for Yang would be madness IMO.

Not sure if it’s been posted already or if this is the right thread but has anyone any idea of what way the split works for us and them like home and away fixtures etc?

12 appearances and 1 goal against them. 3 assists. Not great. Also think the Tavenier thing a bit over an over reaction. If memory serves me right Palma was down his side last Glasgow derby and done f all from play. I just think Yang, Palma and Kuhn are better

We are due 3 home and 2 away, they are the opposite.

Our two away are likely St Mirren and Killie with two of the homes being Hearts and them. The other will likely be Hibs or Dundee at home. Dundee would be a third game at Celtic Park.

They are the opposite to us, if Dundee are top 6 it will be a third trip to Dundee.

Order of fixtures no idea, we will likely play them shortly after the split to avoid a title decider. It wouldn’t surprise me if they give us away to Killie first, home to them, home to Hearts or 6th place, away to St Mirren, home to the other of Hearts or 6th.

    I th
I think this is wrong, if Dundee come top 6 we are away to them and st mirren, and home to gers, hearts and killie.

If Hibs come top 6 we're away to killie and Gers would be away to Hibs.

Hopefully Dundee pip Hibs, would be hugely beneficial to us.

This would certainly suit us but I think us getting the extra home fixture suits aswell and I’ve said it before but we are really over due a huge performance and win against hearts. Reckon we’ll hop off them when we play them especially after last game. Sunday is still the big day though :50:

Yes, we could really do with avoiding going to Killie away after the split.

Hearts will unfortunately have 3rd tied up before the split, just about, so a potentially tricky game for Gers at tynie, you'd definitely put your mortgage on them beating hearts comfortable.

As much as I prefer your version why would Killie who are above Dundee have their fixtures changed instead?

I can’t see them going to Killie an extra time and us one less.

I genuinely think it's the only viable way for every team to get 19 home & 19 away..

It’s not just had a look Hearts, Rangers and Killie will go into the split 17 home, 16 away. Celtic, St Mirren and Dundee will be 16 home, 17 away.

    Fixtures will be:

Celtic (home, Rangers, Hearts, Dundee) (away, St Mirren, Killie)

Rangers (home, St Mirren and Killie) (Away, Dundee, Celtic, Hearts)

Hearts (home, Rangers and St Mirren) (Away, Dundee, Celtic, Killie)

Killie (Home, Celtic, Hearts) (away, Rangers, St Mirren, Dundee)

St Mirren (Home, Celtic, Killie, Dundee) (away, Rangers, Hearts)

Dundee (home, Rangers, Hearts, Killie) (away, Celtic, St Mirren)

Everyone plays home and away 19 games.

Most fixtures balance out too except Dundee us, Dundee Rangers, Dundee vs Hearts and Dundee Killie) but it balances the games and all the others are as they are meant to be. Given Dundee are 6th they will be the one they switch fixtures not Killie.

The only way I can see that become a problem is if Dundee close the gap on Killie in fourth between now and split. Killie would be against a third trip to dens possibly, then again it might suit them.

At the end of the day we know what we need to do win the next 6 league games, including beating them twice and we are champions.

Maeda will, rightly, be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Not a single player in our squad can replicate what he brings and what he brings is required in a derby, especially away from home.

It’s taken for granted the amount of times he’s charging back from the wing into full back or central midfield and nicking the ball back for us.

The only domestic game he should be a guaranteed starter. Just hope the right one turns up on the day, it's the toss of a coin.

There absolutely no chance we are getting away with not going to Kille for a 2nd time having already lost there in league and cup.

3rd home game will be hibs or Dundee

Weird take. Which if you take a step back and realise what you’re actually saying, you’ll agree with.
