I think that we will easily win this game I’ve watched a bit of their games last week and they were pish all over the park, if we turn up and rip into them from the start we will over run them. I believe we need to rip into them immediately and not let them settle or come on to us we know the Ref and VAR will favour them so we need to not give them the opportunity to gain by it.

I think if we can get 2 up the crowd will be all over them and by 60 min desert the stadium and they will fall apart. This is the first time in a while I’ve been comfortable in the knowledge that were so much better than them and that we will (barring dodgy VAR and ref decisions) easily beat them.

I even think this could be a record breaking score line

Oh what fun it is to * the Huns 7-0 on new years

Aye they’re absolutely pish and their manager is a hotdog wae a big mouth. But I’m never confident going there until I see how we start the game.

We’re the better team by a considerable margin with a manager light years ahead of theirs, so I expect us to win, but, it’s hard to get confident until the first balls been kicked for me.

This might sound a bit pessimistic, but from experience watching these games, we'll need to make sure we give them no encouragement in the first 10-15 minutes.

Like it or not and regardless of form, they'll come out all guns blazing. They'll put on a high press and try to force us into mistakes playing out the back. They'll win a couple of corners and their fans will celebrate and cheer them as if they're goals. It just always happens when you have such a massive vocal backing in these games.

So aye, I expect Rangers to come at us and seemingly look like the dominant force in the first 10 mins or so.

After that, if we get through it without giving them much, that's when we'll ease into the game and start gaining a strong foothold in the midfield. I think once Celtic create their first genuine chance that'll be the game turned in our favour. We'll have too much for them over the course of the 90 minutes, and the scoreline will all come down to whether we have our shooting boots on come kickoff.

But aye, need to be wary of the opening stages. Last thing we need is needless encouragement and giving them a goal of a start. Get through that and our quality will prevail.

Watching Tavernier desperately trying not to praise Celtic in order to keep the brownie point score high amongst the orcs is hilarious.

Asked how this Celtic team differs from previous ones he's faced he just says: "New faces.....ehh.....new faces. They've changed their style of play a little bit"

    He's a total ridneck of a guy.

If we win the coin toss we should punt it into their corner like we did a couple of seasons ago and push them right back.

Wonder if the huns will demand a minutes silence for Pope Benedict. They usually love a minutes silence at their hole against us.

    Ange at today’s pc

Sead Haksabanovic will probably miss Monday. He had a scan and it’s nothing serious and he has been training, but not at 100 per cent. So we are going to give him a chance to get up and running and just miss this game

Tony Ralston is still a bit sore so he will miss Monday as well.”

Ralston ruled out so I think Juranovic will start and Johnston will be on the bench..

I'd like to see Iwata feature. He'll be match fit from the J League, so get one more game out of him then give him a good rest.

Been about 7/8 weeks since J League finished and would have done little training since and barely any with our players.

That could be a long substition then, if he's got to make his way from Japan

Didn't realise that. I just remember Hatate looking knackered near the end of last season. Folk were saying he came straight from the J League season without a break.

Bit of a big game to throw him in for his first game haha.
If Jura is back im fairly certain the midfield will be McGregor, Hatate, Mooy

Every club has had its tragedies…

They just like to use theirs as a ‘look at us’ opportunity on an annual basis. They can ram it up their deid hole.

Wouldnt be disappointed with that line up but mooy would be desperately unlucky to miss out.
I also wouldnt be opposed to going with Giakoumakis in place of Kyogo.
Im a fan of them both but Giakoumakis gives them more problems for me and has the hunger vs them.
Sad to see his situation as he is a big character. Showed a few nice touches when he came on vs hibs too
