    Awful beyond belief. I think however that people saying "all this over a football match" are slightly wide of the mark. In my opinion it bares all the hallmarks of a carefully orchestrated attack on a nationalist area by a loyalist, paramilitary death squad. These * are not adverse to using the cover of a football match as an excuse to carry out their murderous activities. Whipping up secterian hatred & fear, especially as the marching season gets into full swing, is an old, loyalist tactic. The poor man was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Any "taig" would have done. As i said, simply awful.

    In California this would be tried as a murder with special circumstances (hate crime) and the death penalty would be on the table. Not hanging... but close.

    Lads first thing i would like to say is thank you for all your kind messages and support the mc daid family thank you all.I was a very close friend of kevin mc daid and kevin wasnt killed because he was a celtic fan kevin was killed because he was a catholic in the wrong place at the wrong time .These scumbags who killed kevin were after the first catholic they could get their hands on no matter who it was .As for the people who done it these tramps are not even rangers fans they were scum just looking to kill catholic .But we have to look at the big picture here the police knew these * were coming and done nothing this is not the first time loyalists have got into the heights and attacked people the same thing happened last summer.
