Buzzing for this. Been a long week and a half since the County game, be able even longer few days leading up to this too I reckon.

Think only two positions up for grabs, one of the 8’s between Rogic and O’Riley and one of the wide spots probably between Abada and Maeda.

    What I’d go for:

    Hart

    Juranovic Carter-Vickers Starfelt Taylor

    Hatate McGregor O’Riley

    Jota Giakoumakis Maeda

Rangers 1-3 Celtic Giakoumakis, O’Riley and Jota

    Yep..

    He's a no no..

We saw what they couldn't cope with last time. Pace, movement/rotation and being pressed high..

    * myself for this now tbh. If we start well and don't give them a chance to hit the deck then we'll win, because they will throw everything at us from the off. Stifle that and even grab a goal first half and they'll crumble.

I'm confident purely on the basis that Ange is a far better coach than Giofanny.

Just heard that they're not going to allow any fans in the stadium, just to give themselves the best chance to perform, can't have them getting shouted at by their own "fans"

Collum taught me R.E for years at Cardinal Newman, you'll do well to find a more dedicated catholic, he was persuasive af when it came to collecting SCIAF money for the weans in Africa, used to find myself giving him half my lunch money towards it due to how good he was at speeches on the cause. Tbf he was a good teacher and a sound guy.

On his ability as a ref, I think he tries too hard to look impartial due to everyone knowing his background, which leads to some shocking decisions against us.

I did notice Ramsey feeling his hammy in the 90th min or so vs Austria the other night.

Would be funny if that’s him out again for another couple weeks now that Wales are through.

Him and Bale are the only two players in the world that get prescribed 3 weeks of golf to recuperate from injury.

you’re being unfair he ‘heard’ the contact and teachers at RC schools are given eyes in the back of their heads also.

seriously, rather have Collum try to be over fair that various masonic bastarts that hate us, at least walshhun is only fourth official

That was the end for Collum at Cardinal Newman after that, loads of the tim teachers turned on him, I can remember the deputy head teacher at the time, Mr Snee, rumored to have went for him in the staff room the day after the game, Collum had to move to a new school to teach R.E

    They're probable line up
    McGregor
    Tavernier
Halendar/Balogun - Balogun played full 90mins today and Friday in World Cup qualifiers.
    Goldson
Barasic/Bassey - Barasic played 90mins in a friendly today and Bassey played for 88mins today and 15mins on Friday in World Cup qualifiers.
    Lundstram
Jack - played 60mins in a friendly today
Aribo - played a full 90mins today and 60mins in World Cup qualifiers.
Kamara/Arfield/Ramsey - Kamara played 90mins today and 20mins in a friendly at the weekend. Ramsay played a full 90mins in a friendly at the weekend and looked knackered at the end. Didn't even make the bench today.
    Kent
Morelos - got sent home from Colombia after their physios deemed him too injured to feature in their match tomorrow.

    Ours
    Hart
Taylor - played 70mins in a friendly at the weekend
    CCV
    Starfelt
Juranovic - played 90mins in a friendly at the weekend
McGregor - played 80mins in a friendly at the weekend
Hatate - played 45mins in a World Cup qualifier today
    O’Riley - played 20mins in a u21 Euro qualifier
    Maeda
    Jota
Giakoumakis - played 70mins at the weekend and 20mins yesterday in friendlies.

Do I have a life? No.

But this does show that they're putting more minutes and in more competitive games into already tired legs.

    Exciting.

I'd be tempted to stick Jota left again. Tavernier didn't really get close to him and for me, Jota wasn't even really on form then..

Bassey is quick and strong so Maeda getting in behind him and pressing him in to mistakes with Juranovic on the overlap. Ooft..

Getting more confident as the day's go on..

Virtually a whole team quite fresh out the back of these internationals..

Looks like we have came through the internationals unscathed and most players will be fresh as after no real competitive minutes played.

    Hart

    JJ
    CCV
    Starfelt
    Taylor

    McGregor

    O’Riley
    Hatate

    Jota
    GG
    Maeda

Can’t really see any other team unless Rogic is fit he might be in instead of O’Riley. But would fancy O’Riley more even if Rogic is as it will be quite a battle in there.

Not heard any more about Maeda but if he’s unfit then it’s Jota on the left Abada on the right.

The Kyogo return has gone quite quiet so can’t even see him making the bench.

As confident as I’ve been for a while against them. First goal is crucial as they will crumble mentally if we get it.

    COME ON CELTIC!!

Whoever goes up against Tavernier should be getting joy against him.

Jota and Maeda have been hitting form recently. Jota's skill will have Tavernier on his * most of the game (see the game at Celtic Park) and Maeda will hound him into mistakes.

I can't see Tavernier having a good game on Sunday.

Goldson will get rag dolled again by Giakoumakis. His movement and strength gave Goldson some real problems.

The entire Hun midfield has been worked hard this international break, with the exception of Arfield and Lundstram who are both *.

Aribo has looked * since the African Cup of nations and he's played another round of fixtures.

I'm sure it'll be Bassey on the left and he has the odd wobbly moment where Abada or Jota or Maeda will cause him problems.

Morelos will be fit enough to play but isn't 100%. Ramsay may be playing golf.

The only player who may turn up is Kent, who frequently steps on the ball mid step over.

If we're hounding them from the off, chasing in packs, I can't see them winning it. I can't even see them drawing it.

We must be switched on and ready from the off. Exploit any weakness shown.

He beats Tavernier for fun. Would prevent Tavernier getting too far forward as Jota couldnt be left alone, would destroy them on the break.
