They were tears of joy mate. I've always wanted to see us go to that midden and absolutely horse that lot good and proper. Yesterday it finally happened. We won 0-3 there under Martin O'Neill, and that was cool, but yesterday was an absolute tanking. A humiliation. 1-5 going on 1-9. That's the kind of stuff you dream about. I know I'm being greedy but I just wish we'd have been a bit more ruthless in front of goal. Scotty Sinclair takes a couple of chances he'd normally score and they'd be hiding under their beds all summer. I * loved that yesterday. That was special.

celtic your favourites in green .... present day.. let the people sing
Just watched the game again , sober this time . 5-1 flattered them you're right Marky 9-1 would/ should have been the score . Scotts two misses . In the 2nd minute McGregor should roll the ball to Griffiths , he's unmarked . Then about the the 2nd minute of the second half . McGregor really should score .
This is not a moan by the way . The bhoys were brilliant and I thank them for the 5 they did score . Will be a pleasure going to work tomorrow.

Looks like I'm not alone in watching the whole game back this afternoon.
Aside from the chances created but not taken, a few other things leap out watching it a second time.

1- Griff had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside early in the second half. (6-1 then)
2- The move around 74 mins with KT, Sinclair and Armstrong was sensational.
3- Stuart Armstrong was immense yesterday, completing 47 out of 51 passes. With most of them in the opposing half of the pitch.
4- Boyata also deserves massive credit for the level of his performance yesterday. Not just for winning tackles and headers, like Armstrong he rarely gave the ball away.

Bank holiday tomorrow, might watch it again before work on Tuesday

    All true,

Boyata : he had a cracker, and I loved it when he casually shoved Billy the Fish Garner off the pitch, near the end.

What a day and what a game.

Was at the hogmanay game but that was 100x better. Tremendous atmosphere in the ground and taking the * out of them for 90 mins +

I went into thinking any win would do but we really could have 8 or 9 with the chances we had.

I've been to some special games (all champions league games etc in the last decade) but that beats the lot!

Just watched the whole game and what made it sweeter was the fact that overr the last couple of weeks they have been beaten at every level against us and the fact that this game was the biggest reality check for them after the draw at Celtic Park they thought they had closed the gap and the players ripped them apart in this one
