After reading the Goodwillie rumor, I've seen people saying "He's a hun" and then seeing people talk about Scott Brown which annoyed me most by saying he's got a Gers tattoo on his ankle, has anyone got any proof of this or is it just a daft rumor going around?
As for the thread, are there any players who played for us and supported the Gers? what ones done well and what ones done *?
I know Kenny Dalglish was a Gers fan as a boy, but do you think when you play for Celtic it makes you support them?

I couldn't care less either.Broony hates the huns though, even if he did support them he shouldn't be called a hun.Ex-Hun is OK.:icon_mrgreen:
Was Paul Lambert supposed to be a hun? -
Jock Stein supported them i think
-
Scott brown has got a rangers tatoo on his ankle and a hand of ulster on his shoulder.. i seen the 1 on his ankle at barrowfield a while ago and i also seen the 1 on his shoulder. Paul Lambert was a hun im sure. -
Jock Stein openly said he would sign the best huns because he knew Rangers wouldn't sign any Tims, so its a pointless argument as we have always signed huns and anybody else thats good enough to play for us.

I've heard way too many people from Edinburgh say that Broon was a lifetime Hibees supporter to believe the hun nonsense. Also I doubt Big Jock was a rangers fan because he hated their discrimination policy against players and was pretty vocal about it.

If they give their all when they pull on the green and white hoops, I couldnt care. Broony hates the huns, so... I dont think we can say he is one now...

Danny McGrain..Murdo Mcleod..Davie Provan..Willie Wallace.. i read on a rangers forum a few weeks back that Alan Mcinally turned up at some corporate tent down in Manchester before they started rioting & was belting out the sash..wee james forrest was meant to be a hun..like someone said i dont mind aas long as they give us 100 %

Also I dont buy into this crap about Broon having gers tattoos.. And even if he did have Red Hand on his shoulder, that's not a sectarian symbol. It's a symbol of a province of Ireland with legendary origins that have nothing at all to do with catholicism or protestantism. Part of my family hails from that area, I'd wear that tattoo with pride.

I also think the "hun" tag is used differently by different folks. Most of the people on here seem to mean the knuckle-dragging bigots that support Rangers. But I've heard it used as a simple perjorative toward Protestants as well. I dislike the term, that's while you'll not see me use it. I think it's often used thoughtlessly toward those who simply disagree, even for good reason. I always fear that one day I'll be labeled a "hun" by some ignorant person. Not a good feeling.

Well to me a hun is a rangers suporter.. be it catholic jew protestant muslim or whatever... if you support or play for the huns then you are a hun...pretty simple really!

Just because their support thrives on bigotry and racism, they desperately try and convince people that words like hun are somehow comparable to their filth.
Hun means a destructive or barbarous person, not anything to do with religion. -
don't see any tattoo on his shoulder -
KRS-1888 Scott La Rock
The tatto thing is a fib, certainly the shoulder one anyway.I've seen pics^ of him and just watched the Soccer AM video when he's got a mankini on and there's nothing on his shoulder.Hun fibbery is all that is folks.
