    Really struggling to understand this. Twice we've went in for a guy who Wolves aren't interested in loaning out, never mind with an option to buy.

    A whole world of left backs and out there and we're wasting our time on this one?

    Sums up the shambles of our recruitment.

    It’s all part of the plan.. we tried so hard to get players in, our recruitment team just couldn’t get this over the line. It’s a difficult time of the year to get deals done, we’ll have to work with what we’ve got and try again in January (repeat in January..)

    It certainly is, but it's becoming more of a reality by each passing day with the lack of another option. Our work on the LB position has been nothing short of awful and embarrassing.

    Known for over a year another and upgrade on Taylor was need. And chasing this guy last summer and this summer, with zero progress is poor.

    It's an option because of our shambolic ways sadly.

    Yep, Jurasek is pish. He was loaned another year to Hoffeinhem (24/25). Buy option of 10M€ but doubt they would ever trigger it.

    We actually got a new LB from the German league who judging from the pre-season seems good. Jan-Niklas Beste, costed us 8M€ (valued at 15M€ in the transfermarkt for someone who rates that site at all). Very similar profile to Alex Grimaldo (technical, very offensive and deadly on free kicks and corners). 31 games, 8 goals and 13 assists in last year's Bundesliga. So hopefully that's our LB sorted.

    This is to say that we have a chronical problem with LBs and when we got one decent we won't let go of him. You can look at us for CBs, CMs and Ws. LBs you get better elsewhere.
