I wouldn't sell for anything less than 10 million. Seriously, if we are ever going to compete in europe, we need these type of players.

No point putting a figure on it, cos the key point is this - he's worth a lot more than we'd get for him if we sold him.

1) SPL players are nearly always undervalued compared to similar quality players in the EPL

2) McGeady didn't have a great season last year, but is likely to shine under Mowbray's regime

3) There is no way we'd be able to replace him if we sold him, because a player of that quality simply wouldn't come to the SPL

It's a lot more cost effective for us to keep quality than it is to buy it in.

 

id say 4m at the very most. everyone saying 10m region need to get there feet back on the ground.

realistically youd be lucky to get 3 -4 m for him. Imo hes a fraud. People think he is a big player for us but when does he ever show up in the big games? Fraud.

 

wow. people forget that in 2007/08 without mcgeady we would have been nowhere near the title. he was the most important player that season

how many offers have we had for him?

I really thought he was going to be the one who would mend my broken heart after Henrik left, but so far he hasn't. I must say the managers comments yesterday I hope were made as a motivational tool to see if the wee fella finally does it for us but I don't know if he has it in him to stop beating himself and running the ball out of play

its amazing how many people equate that to exciting to watch and "he's an entertainer" aye for the opposition fans and manager

I go back to Mowbray's comments, maybe just maybe the wee man will get his head out of his own bottom and do it for real with a manager who seems to wnt to give him a free reign. We will know by November if it has worked. In the meantime no one will make an offer
