    I agree with you there mate but I do think we need to buy a left back to provide genuine competition for Naylor.
    Who knows ? It might bring out his first season form.

    well done gordon strachan btw, considering we have a realistic chance of gettin into the last 16 for the third time running without spending a penny, i think thats good goin

    however even though i dont think it is vital we sign someone i would be dissappointed if we didnt

    i like the excitement

    I wouldn't get rid of either of them... but we could really use another CB and LB in the picture to push for spots and give us the option to rest players as needed. CB *could* come from our youth. LB is more dicey... selling Naylor means we'd just have to find 2 replacements.
    We *need* another LB. But I'd like to see a quality CB, a quality DM, and/or a quality striker (if we can offload some of the dead weight.)

    why would anyone consider replacing our current best cb, if caldwell continues the form he ended last season with we couldn't afford to buy a better one, i also think we should keep naylor because then we will only have one left back (his replacement)
