Was in the Celtic shop the other day ago and noticed Chris Sutton's 'Paradise and Beyond' and John Hartson's 'Celtic Dream Team'. I'm thinking of buying them but unsure as I'm not normally a fan of autobiographical books or any books from footballers in general.

However, they are on sale and I've heard a few good reviews. Was just wondering, has anybody on here bought and read them? And, how good a read are they?

Just thought I'd ask aswell - any other good autobiographies? Football and non-football?

I have the Dream Team book, it's alright. It's not an autobiography, it's his Celtic dream team.

Was thinking that - looks the easier read of the 2. Although I think Sutton seems far more interesting (in a mysterious way). :smiley-laughing002:

    Thanks for the heads up!

John Hartson's 'Please Don't Go' book is a cracking read! I'd definitely recommend it.

When I read John Hartson's book ,I was nearly crying like a baby at the end. So sad and inspirational at the same time. One of the best book's I've ever read.

Please Don't Go is a brilliant book, The Dream Team book is a bit samey in most parts but decent enough, I found the start of Suttons book hard to get into but it was a decent read.
One book I'd reccomend though is Charlie Tully - Celtics Cheeky Chappie, brilliant read.
