I think we will put up a good showing in the CL group stages and imo are definitely capable of last 16 in EL. If this current side realise their full potential over the next couple of years, we can grow into a very solid Champions league team. A couple of quality signings will get us there as well

I agree with that. Centre-back and striker are two crucial positions and we need to improve in both areas if we are going to do well in Europe.

Definitely Europa league level.....Champions League is something that I think we will take a good few years of developing a decent squad to really make an impact on it.

We need some quality signings to be in with a chance of qualifying for the Champions League group stages, i thought when we played in that Europa League we gave a good account of ourselves against top quality sides with a young side so hopefully this time we will be better prepared ....

I think we've got the makings of a european cup winning side! Keep these guys together, while improving every year, in 2-3 seasons time i can see us pushing for the finals of europa league! Or maybe the last 32 of champions league.. this year i can see champions league. I just hope we dont draw Barcelona lol

Im going to be really critical and say were really not that good atm due to the fact we still buckle under pressure (see the cup final the cup semi and the last huns away game for evidence) BUT! with the correct signings and a decent pre-season i think we will be ready for a decent run in Europe next season, Champions League or Europa i dont know all depends on what sort of quality we bring in this transfer market.

Our current squad is EL level, with a few quality signings we could be a CL level team.

I actually think we played better football last season and expected us to do well going into the EL only to have the disappointment of Sion, hopefully we've learnt from that and the fact we play a more varied game now will help us.

When you drop out of the Champions League into the Europa League, do you not go into the competition at the last 16 stage? The last 16 followed the group stage in last years competition?

Champs League, if we don't get players out with long-term injuries, like we did this season.

But we need a quality striker.

It's impossible to define. Atletic Bilbao and Athletico Madrid were Champions League class this season yet both reached the final of the Europa.

If you're asking how far we've came though? A million miles. Especially defensively.

This is a very good question but I actually have no idea!

It really is just impossible to tell but to be perfectly honest based on this season I would guess pretty much the same as last season. In the europa cup we actually did not too bad in the groups and if we were in the same group this season I dont see any reason to expect any better.

I think we have progressed in the context of the SPL no doubt. But does that equate to being able to qualify past the likes of Udinese, Athlectico, and Rennes? Probably not (though I would love to be proven wrong)

2 trophies out of 6 (domestically)

We're not even the finished article in Scotland, never mind Europe.

Think we're good enough to come 3rd in a semi-decent champions league group depending on the signings we make this summer.

I Dont think we have came on as a team that much, we have not had a team play 3 games with the same players in it. why this has come about I don't know, if it was about injured players, then the injured player stand in, would be playing 3 games but it is not happening, even the stand in guys are getting rotated.

I voted "...Great SPL side" as we lack many aspects to be a force in Europe. 90% of teams in Europa League or Champions League group stages have a top top striker. In our group: Falcao for Athletico Madrid, Di Natale for Udinese and I forgot the Rennes striker, but I remember he was decent. Us, on the other hand have Gary Hooper and Anthony Stokes. Don't get me wrong I think they're good players; However, I doubt they etch fear into our European opposition like Falcao and Di Natale did to us. Too become a great European team we need a top class striker!.

without sounding naive i think realistically we won't do embarrassingly bad in the CL but would fare better in Europa. I ticked CL because we wouldn't shame ourselves

to early yet to think about the champions league, the team have only won 1 title and lost 2 cups. maybe we can think about progressing in the champions league next season if we can keep the core of the team together and add to it, but we're to inexperianced at this time.

hope i'm proved wrong of course
