A simple question really. How do you think the club should deal with the refugee situation?
In an ideal world the club would sack Griffiths, thus making an example of him. I don't think that will happen though. As much as some may not like it, we're no longer the same club that was created by Walfrid.
We're a multi-million pound company that is run by people with a lot of money, and the main concern is the bottom line. Sacking a player who we've just paid good money for makes no financial sense, so I don't think it'll happen.
We'll more than likely see some PR repairs, an apology from both club & player, perhaps a donation to a suitable charity, and the promise from Griffiths that it will never happen again.
Then business as usual.

I don't get how sacking someone a few months after spending near a million quid on a guy could ever be the 'ideal world'.

Internal reprimand, public apology and be made to participate in Celtic's public charity schemes, sort of likea community service type punishment.

Donate his wages for the remainder of his contract to refugee charity that helps their families. Get him to work over the summer every year for charities that help refugees. Give him a * crash course in racism, one in the history of our club and the club he's meant to support.
Get Balde and Ambrose to ambush him in the showers. -

Suspension pending investigation, maybe leading to a suspension until the end of the season - only 5 games, lets be honest the SFA will * him. Fined and working on a club charity initiative. The club has plenty of events where they work with asylum seekers etc. Re-educate him.
One more * up and he's out.
And it was likely a Hibs fan - one of the ones encouraging him -

nothing.
he's out with his mates watching his boyhood team against there bitter rival having a few beers, then sings some supporters song. big deal.
no supporters song against your rivals is going to be ''politically correct'' -
Either that or just rip up his contract and send him on his way. -
Sacked immediately.

They do.
