all depends on how we approach the game; its a must win and we must treat it as one and not be content with a draw which on any other occasion away to ibrox is usually a decent result

rangers will be fired up from the off i can see them coming flying out the traps though we should fight fire with fire and just attack attack attack! really need nguenmo and brown to impose themselves in the midfield, i reckon keane and fortune will give weir nightmares not to mention the pace on our flanks obviously our weakest area is defence but we cant be any worse than we have been with the two young lads at the back eager to prove themselves!

In any case MONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN THE HOOPS!!!!!!!

I'd love to say I was confident we could go there and get a result against almost certainly 12 men (14 if you count the linesmen) but there has been very little over the course of the season that has made me confident of such a thing.

We will need to play out of our skins, convert our chances and be solid at the back. The huns will play 4-5-1 and go for the draw, playing on the counter. The usual hatchet men in the midfield will be there and they will kick us all over the park, usually getting away with it, of these things I am almost certain.

Put simply anything other than the 3pts and any uncertainty in the destination of the SPL trophy is gone. I want us to win more than anything but with so much up against us I am not overly confident.

    Hopefully I'm wrong.

    put it this way?

if celtic do not win on sunday then we deserve * all! its been an up down season with more downs than ups.and if we dont beat them this time? then the only thing that was good about this season was signing keane.

Nah. If we don't win on Sunday then we still have the Scottish Cup to play for. I know it's only second prize but it's still a good trophy to win.

I think I'd feel more confident about Sunday if Hooiveld was fit and available to play. I'm not too keen on the prospect of playing Thompson - O'Dea, Rogne - O'Dea or Thompson - Rogne at the back. It looks like that's exactly what we'll have to do though.

aye, the tuesday before the Old Firm game!!! you should know as well as any that the whole week before it is mental! anticipation then the fear then after a couple jars on saturday night confidently predicting a 5-0 victory :icon_mrgreen: then back to fear as you start getting that nervous feeling in your gut; we've had two bad experiences this season surely our luck has to change!??

5-6 on the basis that we sting them early, i think that will be key to success on sunday!

I have been confident going in to the last 5 old firm games but we always seem to be the better team and not come away with the 3 points.

For that reason i went with 7 - 8. We have a far better squad than they do and we play much better football so we should win but going by what's happened in the last 2 games it wouldn't surprise me if we were all over them again creating chance after chance and they sneak a 1-0 win.

Can't wait till sunday.. I can see them sitting back 4-5-1 with 2 sitting midfielders as they will need to double up on McGeady & Kamara on the wings not just McGeady like it has been before should be entertaining :56:

5-6 because this season nothing has went our way, weve had some terrible decisions from the ref which have cost us valuable points. How typical would it be to get a red card early or concede a penatly for nowt? We all know they will claim every single time a player goes down and will give the ref grief from the word go, hopefully the ref wont be bullied into giving them a stupid decision and we manage to beat the * and really apply some pressure!!! All i ask for is a fair Ref and weve got every chance!!! 2-1, double for keane :icon_mrgreen:

On the basis of the last Old Firm game, if we stay strong enough to deal with Rangers on the counter - the game is easily ours.
Can our defence cope? I don't trust them but I'm hoping so.
