The thing is, we have had a great away support this season, they have been singing loud and proud most games while we have been playing poorly.

If the Idiot starts,then if celtic fans take the * out of him then so be it,

Obviously you are having difficulty distinguishing what has been said, let me spell it out for you. This 'issue' (which was the word I used in the first place) isn't just about the one side, i.e. whether McGregor is guilty or not. I will repeat, there is also the potential for this to be a false allegation of rape. Not a pleasant thing to happen to anyone i'm sure, or perhaps you disagree?. Therefore, this isn't a one way street of either guilt or innocence, there is claim and counter-claim.

As such, to be affected by 'the issue', could mean either what you jumped on it to mean, or alternatively, to be the victim of a false allegation of a serious crime.

But of course, you don't want to wait to find out, your mind is made up by what you want to be the truth.

 

yeah its football but theres a line. its all well and good saying the fixture was built on hatred and all that kind of stuff but even then there is a line. you don't get racist abuse, even the billy boys has died out (i'm not saying they don't have other filth coming from the stands because they do but its an example of progress away from the hatred the fixture was built on someone referred to). i suppose its where people see that line but for me taunting someone over an unproven rape allegation is pretty far beyond it.
in short * him, the guys a * and will be dealt with regarding these allegations. i'd rather we left it at that and concentrated on supporting our team rather than revelling in the trouble that * is in.

 

Just so that we're clear, I was not claiming you personally to be mindless, to my knowledge we've never met. I was giving my opinion on the *-for-tat tactics, and on being told to go away, I would have said the exact same thing to any poster who voiced these opinions/instructions.

 

yah, but they dont happen nearly as often, how many headlines have you seen in paper

"33 year old man kills himself after bar brawl, depressed"

rather than

"young woman found dead, overdosed on drugs"

I have a friend who didn't leave his house for two years coz he got a kickin, am not saying its funny am just saying that you can't disregard the affect as one being worse than the other.
