    celtic on tv programmes

    glasgow celtic

    is it just me or do tv programmes love celtic,,

    first we had the lost programme singing "its a grand old team"

    then we had the us open tennis where the media showed celtic fans in the crowd a few times,

    then just last night celtic fans were being shown quite alot during the masters golf

    now on coronation street,ashly and his bhoy are walking about with what looks like celtic hooped scarfs on

    aye we are everywhere, and there was a few guys with hoops shirts in the 3rd row of wrestlemania with big Scottish and Irish flags... sad I noticed.. but just as sad as corrie :D

    seriously though

    the programmes i/we mention do cover the four corners of globe 24 hours a day 7 days a week,

    families are watching the programmes and lets face it ,the programmes mentioned are the most popular any where in the world at the moment

    so the potential audience and free advertising the celtic brand is astronomical and could be exploited ,

    big rewards could be had if someone got the finger out ,

    even if celtic,used the slogan "as seen" to sell merchandise,,,or music cds,"as heard on"

    it would cost nothing to stick the "as seen" on the labels they would have nothing to lose and everything to gain

    Read years ago the guy who plays Kevin is a Tim and brings some of the cast to games regularly, seen him myself years ago with Curly and Steve at a game singing like * the Fields thats why the scarves when anyone goes to a game on screen are Celtic colours cos he makes sure thats all they have to wear lol:celt_2:

    exactly like that wee teddy from shameless - as seen on Shameless, there was something else on either last weeks shameless or the one to be shown thi sweek that had green and whit hoops on it that belonged to Paddy but cant remember what can just remember Frank sitting beside it

    yes he is ,he played at celtic park "jungle night last stand" before the stadium got demolished and rebuilt

    we jinky scored a great chipped goal that night,,wonderfull stuff

    If anyone watches hero's then you will see in season 2 in episode 2 or 3 there is some irish criminals who go steal some bookies money from the Celtic vs AC Milan game... brilliant :D
