    Hey El Paso!! I am also from El Paso!! 100 euros worth of red diesel to the person who names the journalist who christened "the town" El Paso?!. He did this in a BBC documentary in the early seventies? He is currently the highest profile editor of an English Newspaper!!

    Erm...you mean the two of you aren't from El Paso Texas??

    I lived there for 6 months when I was 2 while my father worked at White Sands Air Force Base for Raytheon.

    Curious tie-in: The only thing I remember from our time there is that a neighbour had a story-record of Disney's "Greyfriars Bobby" (the 1961 version) which I adored so much that my parents bought me a copy.

    My Scots fixation started young it did, and in Texas no less...:86:
