Unless you're Connor Goldson or Ryan Jack.

So bbc already put in their match report of hiba getting a dubious red card, Todd Cantwell dives to get a player sent off and is their man of the match.

That ref was a defensive midfielder for them. In the way of everything.

His brother did play for the Huns :56:

Weirdly, best performance I’ve seen from McClean that and he was still an annoying *. Big decisions probably right, though I think Campbell should have had a red at the end.

Why the * does it look like the Motherwell player has played him onside by his walking stick? What the * are we actually looking at, because we can see his arm stop and then he's measured off something else, or am I going demented? :39:

That walking sticks the line to the ground, which is measuring off the extremity of his arm, not from the armpit where its supposed to go. Which pulls it a good half a foot or a foot in the other direxction playing him on

How come the line of the 18yd box is perfectly straight yet the VAR line is at a different angle?

No doubt the impartial members on Sportscene will be raging at the Hibs red card while trying to find an excuse for the huns VAR decision for the 3rd goal

Line doesn't even go straight down :56:honestly if they're genuinely using that view to make a decision then we might as well pack up and go home. They've drawn a line in front of the last defender and STILL it's behind Sakala's foot!

    No penalty for us
    Stonewall for Hibs
    No second yellow for Youan

    I'm stunned :56:

Agree.....he should've seen a straight red before when he went in studs up on Starfelt.

Youan's red card was honestly harsh so can't say that didn't go in our favour. Then again, would say that's karma for the silly * shooshing our fans when he scored a meaningless consolation at Parkhead back in October

See being honest them getting him sent off and then Starfelt being stupid enough to give away a penalty probably saved them a beating. They weren’t playing as deep before the red and we were getting in behind them at will. If it wasn’t for poor finishing/ final balls we would have been a few goals up already. When they then dropped deep and packed the box we never created that much for most of the rest of the half.

On the other game as soon as they showed the replay for their third you could see Sakala was offside without needing the lines to prove it, unbelievable that wasn’t called off. Meanwhile in our game you still have linesman sticking the flag up and refs stopping the game mid attack.

To give Cantwell man of the match is a wind up surely he was awful as was every player on that pitch for the 70 minutes of the game I saw. For a 4-2 it was weird, there were 6 goals from about 8 or 9 total chances and a whole lot of pedestrian passed football and long punts up the park from both teams.

Cantwell had a couple of simple but decent passes but also got disposed regularly and looked for too long on the ball. If he is the great hope or part of it, I know we weren’t at our best today but he’s certainly not the superstar they are trying to make him out to be.

Aye it wasn't a second yellow for me....just mentioning McCann blatantly going with everything that went for us was wrong and Hibs was right..

I also said in the match thread about Doyle Hayes getting them pretty much bang on but he was flying in full pelt. One mistimed tackle and he was doing someone badly..
