Would be good if there could be club representatives in attendance in the VAR room during games. Guy like JP Taylor sitting in and making sure we are not getting shafted.

Perfectly reasonable it seems to me, but doubt the 'PARANOID TIMS' * would be front page news for weeks if it was even suggested.

The main issue pertains to the absolute dedication to from the Sevco minded media to attempt to explain away these instances.

There's no real recourse to challenge either the media, or indeed the footballing authorities.

No ex Celtic player is going to challenge why the Record dug out an interview with Conroy. Or why SkySports opted to debate the more explainable penalty all from Ibrox.
As I recall, during Morelarse and translategate, not ONE so called Celtic friendly pundit on their payroll said a word about. With only Sutton at rivals BT giving it the time of day.

Like it or not, the country's media is supposed to be a check against institutionalised corruption. But when they bend over backwards and bombard their audiences with weak justifications for referee inconsistencies, it gives carte blanche Sevco minded refs to intercede on their teams behalf.

Both Goldson penalities can explained away, with valid reasons for why they weren't awarded. Such is the nature of interpretation.
The REAL issue is the inconsistency of decisions, and now, the reluctance to even use the tools at hand to examine them al VAR.

Boyds recent piece was like reading a prayer for violence, typing in hope that someone WILL indeed harm a referee, so the narrative changes.

He, and others of his ilk, can shout no conspiracy all day long.
But such dismissals require a lack of evidence. The evidence, both circumstantial and statistical is there in black and white.

If they were being honest, they'd accept that Celtic fan's gripes with refereeing in Scotland isn't a conspiracy theory, but a plausible possibility, which needs addressed.

This doesn't stop until the club take the bull by the horns, and start lambasting these referees publicly.

I've sadly come to the conclusion that we'll need to be sanctioned to get this type of thing done - much like strikers accepting loss of pay and risk for the greater picture.

Talking behind closed doors hasn't done anything, subtly talking in the press hasn't done anything, outright calls by fans groups and media people like Sutton hasn't done anything... And with every time they're supported in the institutions they get enabled and more brazen.

The club needs to channel 'The Bunnet' and call * out! Consequence be damned! And make it clear we're taking it all the way to CAS. They'll fold like a house of cards then... Until we do, it'll just get worse

No mate! Sorry! The only answer is that every single comment by the refs, officials and VAR are recorded and a genuine process is put in place for recourse by club's who feel unfairly treated.

It can't be hard to do independent assessment of matches in the SPFL to 'scale' ref performance. There's only a maximum of 6 or possibly 12 games per week to review, and it'd take about 2-2.5hrs to scan and say if every decision was right, wrong or debatable. You could hire a couple of interns, FFS!

Imagine you had a company that employed security guards, but were told you couldn't question what they did or when they did it, even as your stock was disappearing. It's unthinkable...

guess the referee at rugby park just forgot that when a player scores then runs to the opposition fans, makes gestures and cups their ears at them that its a yellow card and what a shock 13 minutes later that player who avoided the yellow gets booked which would have been a second and thus a red at 1-1.

I’d love to see a breakdown of how long our VAR checks last compared to the Huns.

Anytime I see them on Sky it’s a <5 second check, yet with us it very rarely under a minute.

The obvious solution is to have the refs conversations over mics broadcast. That removes any ambiguity to decisions. It works great in rugby where a video assistant system has been in place for years longer and is far better used.

Have they giving us a FK in shooting range since we found out Jota can hit them?

It's no surprise that we've been given a token gift in a game we were always gonna be winning 5 plus in..

Suspect as *. No one wanted that. We certainly didn't need it..

Penalty was shocking. They set a precedant early in the season with some of the shocking handball decisions against us and others and now they're just looking silly woth every ridiculous decision

I think you are thinking of league game where Griffiths was cut down as he was about to pull trigger.

Sad to say the game suffered for it, completely took the fight from Morton, I love watching celtic score 4+ goals a game but feel a bit shortchanged with a bad decision so early on, could have been a good cup tie.

The second one was more of a pen.

    Zero consistency.

Already seen Huns going on in Twitter about how this 'ends the conspiracy' and 'what happens when you intimate refs'

That'll be the get out clause sorted for the rest of the season.

When we suffer another terrible game-changing decision in a tight important game they'll be able to bring out the "Morton" card.
