Technically speaking the Bitton v Morelos incident wasn't a goal scoring opportunity and then not a red card.

It was Morelos and he never scores against us.:giggle1:

True. All jokes aside though itbwas not a clear goal scoring opportunity. Its was indeed a foul and stupid from Bitton, but a red card? Nah. It was extremely harsh and changed the game in favour of the refs favourite team.

I don't know, but we certainly wouldn't have got it.

Our season is not falling apart because of the result today but because of Lawwell and Lennon in the many months preceding this.

It's not a clear goalscoring opportunity. The tackle is wider than central, Morelos would need to come towards goal where he'd be met by Ajer.

It's the fact Madden didn't pause for thought. Straight into his pocket. Seen it many times in the past. It's like they are waiting for the opportunity.

Yeah, we'd have been screaming for it too, but it doesn't make it the correct decision.

It has most likely cost us the 2nd biggest achievement in our history.

It was claimed that officials would play a part this season. How right we were.

I’m still not sure if it’s a red or not after seeing a few replays. Fact the ref sent him off without thinking about it and not discussing it with other officials is strange though.

Also found it weird when he held Morelos back after the Duffy tackle. Why do that? Worried he may get involved and have to be sent off? Refs don’t usually hold players back in these situations.

He didn't want to send his wee pal off..

We're still waiting on it evening out..

That's that rat got away with another game he should've been sent off, including against us earlier in the season when the game was in the balance..

In the last few week's alone they've had a helping hand at Tannadice when that rat * again got away with a blatant elbow early on at nil nil..

Got away with 2 clear penalties against Hibs when pegged back and only 1 nil..

Today early on a red card challenge on Frimpong inside the first 5 to start us off..

This has gone on all season..

No wonder they've had no red card's or penalties against. Must be saint's, or.......

We have cost ourselves 10IAR yes, Bobby Maddhun cost us a chance of victory today to give us a chance to redeem our shot at 10IAR.

To be in the position we are in is our doing yes. A game changing decision by hun loving incompetent official, is not our doing.

Are we screaming for a red at the other end? Absolutely.
Would we have any chance of getting it with the likes of Maddhun in charge? Not a * prayer.

If you want to debate the merits of the decision in terms of today’s game and today’s result, that’s perfectly fine. But it’s bonkers to be associating it with losing the league and blowing 10IAR. A drop in the ocean

Agree with the comments above we have been the creators of our own downfall this season with poor signings, poor team selections, poor team management (players wanting away we kept), and a poor coaching team that we stuck by.

On today’s game though I thought the referring was particularly poor Morelos should have been off for the challenge on Frimpong he deliberately puts his studs down the back of Frimpong 2mins into the game which is a reckless challenge making no attempt on the ball.

After that he constantly gives them little fouls when on a number of occasions they were simply being out fought and having the ball taken from them as we dominated. Again chief culprit was Morelos but there were plenty of others in their midfield. This also gave them a breather from constantly chasing shadows.

When Ajer broke out, Davis again was reckless with the studs up down the Achilles to stop him with no attempt to play the ball.

Bittons one is harsh but have seen them given, it was school boy defending and not signing a proper left sided CB has comeback to bite us again. It was more the fact Madden just about ripped the back pocket off his shorts to get it out you just knew it was coming.

Where have I associated the game changing decision from todays match with it losing us 10IAR?

I clearly stated WE ourselves are to blame for losing 10IAR.

But WE are not to blame for losing todays game.

It was a general comment regarding this thread mate, not directed at you.

I don’t agree with your last sentence. We’re not blameless for losing today. By converting chances, playing better final balls and making better decisions in the final third, we take it out of Maddens hands.

Bitton gave him a decision to make, due to his poor positioning, and he made it. I’ve seen players sent off for less, it’s not a gross injustice in my book.

Can you say it definitely wasn’t a goal scoring opportunity?
    No, not for me

    On the foul against Frimpong.

He should've been fukin rolling about in agony...that may have helped Madden get a ticket out his pocket.

That's what would've happened other way round....not clever enough but that stems from the coaching staff.

    Fukin soft.

It is time in this * country our board did something about known rangers fans being given hun games against celtic. Its time Our board took legal action and forced the sfa to change the rules.ANY other country in the world this would cause outrage and be banned.....no ref should ever be involved in any game that his team of choice is playing.
How can anyone expect a fair out come in a sporting event under these circumstances.
I am sick to * death of our board not fighting our corner.
First thing is regardless of cost VAR needs brought into the game. half the huns would not last a game.

What chance have the board got here...
Nearly every media outlet says Madden had a good game.....it would be absolutely pointless and be classed as paranoid.

Wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

This is a referee that failed to give a last minute penalty when Clint Hill went through the back of Griffiths in the box.

Griff said after it he asked him if Hill touched the ball :celtman2:

He's a cheat just like the rest of them and asking our players to make more of a meal of tackles won't change a thing. McLean was 10 yards away with a clear view of the incident and chose not to relay anything through his mike to Madden.
