Haha not even close to being out looking at that image.

We said it yesterday. Muir could not conclusively say that ball was 100% out using a camera angle from the 18 yard line.

This needs to be sent to the SFA lol.

Think we can probably say the ball didn't go out from that angle

About as close to a straight angle you could get and theres never any space between the ball and the line.

Be interesting to see the Celtic angle of the goal from that one they do from behind the goal, I forget what they call it but they always post their own view from Celtic TV camera guys behind the goal.

The takeaway from that pic isn't our opinion on it from way up in the stand, or comparison to the 18 yard line image... It's the linesman!

The linesman is on the 6 yard line, looking straight at it. He has the absolute best view of any person involved who isn't a Hibs player. He said it's in. Can't say he doesn't see it or have any obstruction... Why are they overruling him from a worse angle?

From that angle and the one looking that was above it behind the goal, it deffo doesn't look all out..

They've clearly guessed. Go for the throats of these *..

Muir should never be allowed a high amount of our games in a studio..

They don't have evidence all of the ball is over the line so they cannot overule the on field decision.
    It's that simple.

    Collum apology incoming.

We need to demand more than that.
Al Muir needs to be sacked. Or at least demoted from any involvement in matches involving Celtic or the huns because he is now proven to be a truly cheating orange hun *

There should be VAR fixed cameras looking straight on the byeline in every game... It's absolutely * INSANE that they know about the optical issues of the ball on the line but have no cameras looking at it...

I always thought that as well, a random guy could set up better VAR probably for under £10k for like a Juniors game

You could get 40 cameras, 20 on each side of the pitch looking straight across every 5 yards say offset so that theres a camera really every 2.5 yards, have them all synced on a computer so you can pause and run them all back at once to find when balls are kicked and then draw a line. Then you have multiple great positions to view offside, probably 99 times out of 100 you wouldn't even need to draw a line it would be obvious since you'd always have a good view of a camera very close or even 2 one from each side of the pitch rather than bad angles which are quite badly inaccurate.

You don't really need high quality TV level cameras really. Theres probably £200/300/500 cameras that would do the job.

That's conclusive enough for me and that Muir should now be struck off as he's clearly guessing .

Miss probably 2 or 3 games

Come back make the same mistake again

A decision was made based purely on a guess, with no factual or conclusive evidence to back it up, that in itself has to be a concern.

Key thing here is the dialogue that led to the decision, we really need to hear it.

FFS....When Boyd is on you side you know how bad that was yesterday.

Angry about it even more today than i was yesterday now especially seeing the latest images from the Hibs fans looking up the line.

Club should demand answers and defend the club the fans and the Manager.

What's the point in having VAR if it isn't even lined up for things like that ? Basically it's only purpose is for refs to be corrected when they make an * of a decision, when it suits the guys in the office that is.

So, is there no extra cameras or anything ?
Surely a massive part of VAR is to keep an eye on lines to see if the ball crosses them for a goal ?

Yet we can't get an angle that shows directly across lines. Maybe we should ditch it until we can actually do it properly. Every single week without fail we have wrong decisions. Has it really made the game better when the same honest mistakes are taking place weekly ?

Pictures coming out today are pretty damning tbh it’s like they didn’t expect people in better areas who have top of the range cameras on the phones to provide better picture and view of what happened
